Man I was watching your channel religiously back in 2016 and loved it- haven’t seen your stuff in a while but this popped up in my feed… so cool to see you and Matt sharing an adventure! Stay rad!!!
My favorite recovery teams together. I can not believe my eyes. Being a former WI and AZ person I know the different styles of wheeling in the 2 states. Love to see you up here in WA. A blend of the 2. I know Bug, Bug's life, would love to see you here too.
It really impressive too watch the big red wrecker totally out of its element. You’ve probably got one the the heaviest full size rigs out there. Just go too prove that with good spotters and driving techniques that you can get just about anywhere the rest of them went. And running a carb.
Well it is a woods truck. You kinda want to be big and heavy for getting grip in snow and mud. But for a rig not built for rock crawling the red wrecker certainly is doing pretty good out there. Would of even made it across that deep ditch if it had a smaller front bumper with less overhang.
What I would love to build is a square crew cab wrecker; only make it a 6x6. Take a look at the 6x6 Jay Leno checked out from Legacy Auto in Jackson Hole, Wyoming that's painted "trash can gray"
Man I have been watching BSF for a long time but it blew my mind seeing Eric teetering on those ledges with the wrecker. Never thought but great video and great driver!
I'm writing this late Feb, 2023 a few weeks before Matt's Wrecker Games, this seems like a bit of a prequil to that event. I absolutely loved this video, it was so much fun to see to crazyness you got up to and came through. Thanks for starting all of this off road wrecker filming, and for sharing your channel for us to enjoy. Looking forward to the games!
It's really cool to see you meeting up with Matt and Rory I started watching your Channel and got interested in building an off-road Wrecker close to 10 years ago and from watching your channel found their channels on TH-cam and really enjoy watching all of your guys's channel so it's really cool to see all of you guys meeting up together somewhere
WOW !!! That was Great to see as Didn't leave the screen till it was over !! Now ,,The Recovery for tomorrow will be just as epic !!! Can't wait to see !! HAHA Have ""Fun "" on your vacation & Thanks for videoing & Sharing with ALL the viewers & Always "" KEEP IT SAFE ""!!!!
How awesome. All 3 of my favorite recovery teams together. Always amazing to see full size rigs off-road in extreme environments. Word of advice: Always double check the coin someone offers when flipping for who gets to do what.
Its awesome to see how the wrecker built using the KISS method stacks up against rigs that have been highly modified and tuned for running in that particular part of the world. Id say it went well. Obstacle? Square dont care!
I truly love seeing all these rigs on the trails! When I got my 2004 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited new I was in off-road Heaven! Had Dealer put 3.5 in Rubicon Express Suspension System on it with 33" BFG's/Wheels 15x8's Bilstein dual resev shocks are now Fox. Got to love the videos!
Wow. I thought some of the rock ledges and walls here were bad lol. Looks great guys. I did laugh a little when towbie couldnt climb but the wrecker could lol. After seeing this vid cant wait to see you guys in person and in action
@5:33 that pintle hitch is doubling as a Rock Slider! @10:20... Did Eric get a TrlM8r sticker? 😉 Man, after all of those Angles, Dangles and Max Flex, it's time to check Spring Shackles and Spring Bolts, for sure!
Welcome to Utah as a Utah native iv never wheeled at sandy hollow just moab and the mountains of northern Utah but u did great for never wheeling on slick rock
Looking at how Rory's rigs built compared to the wrecker's, It looks like it wouldn't be too hard to improve the departure angle on the wrecker, by trimming the taper off the rear of the bed, or cutting an angle into the bed, and moving the hitch forward.
@@jerryb1234 The Wrecker is built for woodland trails. All the other rigs were built for recoveries in the terrain they are in. The issue the wrecker faced and had to be rescued from are that the tires are not close enough to the ends of the vehicle, so the front bumper was hitting obstacles before the tires could start to climb and the rear was being dropped and dragging on rocks, leaving the rear tires in the air. IDK if your aware, but every rig in their initial group has an offroad recovery channel. I was hoping for Matt would have brought the Morrvair along.
@@jamescole6846 he is talking about Eric's rig with consideration to modifications that "could be done for a future trip BACK TO Sand Hollow"; in the case of Sand Hollow doing minor "nips & tucks" here & there would make sense; and possibly even adding a larger lift to the wrecker (IIRC Eric has a 8 inch lift on it right now & for out there he could easily use a 12 inch lift.
Awesome to wheel with you guys after watching your videos for years. A good time was had by all.
Right on!
There's a lot of knowledge of off road towing in that group of people, great video 🤗🇬🇧
I must say when I was four wheeling 45 years ago I thought I did some shetchy things. You guys are nuts.
I know it was a really long trip for you all but I will say it's cool to see all of you wheel together...
“Carburetor doesn’t work upside down?” EPIC.
Man I was watching your channel religiously back in 2016 and loved it- haven’t seen your stuff in a while but this popped up in my feed… so cool to see you and Matt sharing an adventure! Stay rad!!!
This is the best collaboration of offroad recovery teams! I love Every second! Such teamwork!

Need to get Matt to bring the Banana up here to Wisconsin
I was thinking the same thing. Would be awesome to see.
Just say when Matt.
Absolutely AWESOME CONTENT!! love the collab with Winder Towing and Matt!!👍🏻👍🏻
Great video ! I would love to see Matt and crew go hang out in your neck of the woods one day ! Keep up the awesome videos BSF team !
You sure put the wrecker thru some torture out in the desert. I'm used to seeing it in the north woods. Great video. Thanks.
I want to see what Matt & Paul from FAB RATS can do in Eric's "natural element"
Matt’s not the only one to run out of gas. Lol. Nice to see you guys out there. Nice work.
Matt’s refusal to carry spare gas can(s) , esp in those remote areas… is on of his only downfalls, imho.
Thank you for showing the various vehicles going through the same obstacles. 👍😎👍
Best part was watching all the familiar faces from Jamie n Seat Cover to Trevor n Lizzie having a good time
Y'all are awesome, loving seeing that square body gmc. Wheeling out of its element and getting it done.
It just blows me away to see those wreckers running up & down the rocks
Man I have been watching BSF for a long time but it blew my mind seeing Eric teetering on those ledges with the wrecker. Never thought but great video and great driver!
I can't believe where you blokes take those vehicles, they are all fantastic and great mates to boot " unbelievable" 🍻🍻🍻🍻
Mad Matt's "Beyond Sand Hollow Dome" Lol!
Pretty cool to see the wrecker doing so well totally out of it's element.nice job, Eric.
Glad to see you all together. Followed All of you for a long time. That is so close to home, wish I could have been there.
That WAS fun. Nice to see a leaf spring 1 ton do that
Pretty impressive seeing your tow truck rock climbing. And awesome seeing everyone together

Incredible job getting that behemoth through that buggy trail.
That was a very impressive day on the rocks with some very capable drivers and rigs!!!
Thanks for sharing 👍👍👍!
I love the way you guys all get together I enjoy waiting all of y’all
I think Eric did pretty well in the red wrecker also being heavest rig out there '''
Interesting look into the past of the competitors and their rigs for the future off road wrecker games.

When your trail vehicle is an on old Square body dully wrecker and it handles anything you can throw at it. Super capable rigs every one of them.
Coooooooool Reminds me that those desert days...Pilbara...we're just as beautiful as this place...and these people...totally.
THAT OLD GMC WRECKER IS A BEAST !!! LOVE IT , THEY ARE ALL GREAT RIGS

Awesome, thank you for sharing. LETS GO TRAIL MATER.
Thanks for watching!
wooo hooo !!!!!! Nice to see you all smiling and having fun!!!!
Big red did real good on Utah's tuffest trails.
I love the wrangler that uses max tracks as a roof, awesome.
I think it's pretty cool how well your machine did in Utah! I had no idea it was carburettor engine!
Wow, what an awesome trail. The footage is incredible. I want to run that trail someday!!
EPIC !!! Those "Wrecker TowTrucks" are awesome ! Cheers.
Love when all you guys get together.
All of you have great channels.
Eric, you're a darn good driver!
Your rig is bad to the bone!💪I was just shaking my head and grinning!
Greetings from Minnesota!
Thanks 👍

What's the kiss method? Something in a prior video?
@@Private0Malley Keep It Simple, Stupid
@@Private0Malley Keep it simple stupid. The wrecker is pretty basic as far as suspension setup.

That was Clifford the little red 2 door. Towbie did good for such a long wheelbase.
@@dragonjku sorry was confused
Ha, I'm having such a Mad Max moment, it really has "that look". Brilliant to see everyone helping each other.
Thanks for posting. Excellent job of filming . Looked like a lot of fun. Hope to see the next day aswell
It was awesome seeing your rig on the trail!
You did one hell of a job for being out of your element. Can't wait for the rest of the vids you have
Loving these!!! Two of my favorite recovery channels together!!!!
This is the best 4 x 4 video/rock crawling video that I’ve ever seen.
Good job guys.
Great videography. I'll be watching more recoveryteam, for sure.
Took on a mad max vibe with all the rigs running across the sand😉

Great group 👍👍
I continue to be impressed with the wrecker. Enjoy watchin y’all wheel!

It's wild to watch these big ass tow trucks do what they are doing.

Awesome rigs and excellent driving. It might be time to put an EFI system on the wrecker.
So awesome to see how far your channel has come over the years, now your going on recoveries with Matt!
You just have to much fun. I really enjoy watching BSF out in the woods and rocks. I would really love to join you sometime
