I felt all along THEY are being Rory"s cheer leaders form their tone... Because Xander never talk shxt or antagonized fellow golfer as pga mouth like Rory.
"What a weapon Rory's driver has become." When? Rory's driver probably became a weapon at the time he picked up a golf club. I can hardly stand to listen to this dude. Can we trade him to the LIV tour, already?
Right there with you, buddy. Just one dumbass observation after another. He's ruining golf broadcasts for me. Every time I start to fall asleep (I love napping while golf is on) he says something stupid. Then, I get mad and have to start the whole process over.
Pretty sure the hierarchy of scores still counts. If a player has more birdies on a certain hole than his opponent, throughout the tournament, that would lead to more confident shots. Maybe that's just my train of thought.
@@jakabokbotch99 can't mean much if they are giving each other short putts as a matter of convenience on most every hole. par under such circumstances is way too subjective to be used as a metric for much of anything, IMO.
Approach shots matter a lot. The gimmes you see are after a lag putt. Not a lot of gimmes are granted off of approach shots. That's where the birdies and eagles come into play.
@@jakabokbotch99 birdies and eagles play no part in match play scoring. even in medal play they only serve to help the spectators to keep score when all of the players have yet to finish their rounds. don't forget the the winner in medal play tournaments is determined by their total number of strokes. not the total number of birdies or eagles, or pars, or bogeys.

Couldn't ask for a more exciting match in golf, outstanding.
Wow! this is one of the most exciting match play I've seen! Rory's new putter is so sick!
That’s how good Rory is right now - Schauffelle plays amazing and still loses

Match play remains undefeated. Golf, European Tour & PGA Tour needs more of it
That first hole was one of the only times where Rory would be outdriven by Xander. Great golf match!

Schauffelle wasn’t lucky after the drive .
