I always like Greek clashes. Something cool about them - though at times I find myself really missing sword infantry, lol. Either way, a good fight, and thank god for enemy artillery.
Hey Mr. Brunswick, good job as usual :P How hard is it to join up in one of these multiplayer battles? Rome 2 is my favorite of the Total war games, would be nice to play along join one of these if at all possible, my mates don't really play Rome 2 and I've been itching for a good match lol.

@Jason York bro, sure I watched 300 and yes I enjoyed the movie but me being a history buff myself I don't learn my history from a Hollywood movie. Neither did any of the other people here this is just an iconic movie line, not real history. Plus movies like that bring light to the badasses of history, while they might not be your favourite ancient army, its mine so I don't need you coming in and saying that they are only known for a Hollywood recreation of a single 2 day battle (that being the battle of thermopylae).
@@ernestomiguelbaez7649 I know that's why he wants it to happen, looks like a great idea to me, but I found it weird he was talking about Romans in a Greek siege battle
Suggestion: Greek City States verse's Roman military might!! Loving the Rome 2 replays. Last battle you did people said Sparta wasn't a good faction (Even though you won lol), and yet this battle... Well I enjoy playing as Sparta in Rome 2 for reasons like this, fantastic faction in real life and in the game. There are strategies you can use as Sparta to play better in besieging or open plains battles that can help you win as well, they are a very nuanced faction whereas some people will take that to mean they aren't a good faction, but when you know how they work you can basically beat any other faction in Rome 2 (Though fighting Rome can sometimes be difficult). I'd say Sparta has the hardest difficulty rating to use in battles that aren't defensive, and yet in defensive battles they absolutely wreck house.... as seen here, literally no contest.

Well, it would kind of be a waste. Just imagine being in a Calvary unit and you get knocked off your horse, you would already be surrounded and you probably wouldn't be able to get a hit in, but if you had a great charge you might be able to fall back and get in formation. I like the idea though.

When you said “civilian” cavalry I laughed because civilians in Sparta are never JUST civilians 😂
In sparta you are either soldier or slave
Only women are free and not soldiers
Every child that is a male is taken for their families at the age of 7 years to start the training for that kid becoming a soldier
