Natalie hits the nail on the head here. She brings home the point that Marianne Williamson makes when she says that shining our light gives others permission to shine theirs. Her tips are time-tested and their application has helped me tremendously. Great points!

I love Williamson's poem, yes we allow others to shine too! Thank you for this!!!

I didn't understand how important it was to celebrate my own accomplishments. I remember after my graduation ceremony was over my dad said " thank you for doing this" I didn't understand what he meant. But Natalie is right our accomplishments are the manifested dreams of the generation before us, celebrating our accomplishments is also honoring the sacrifices of everyone who helped us get there

Thank you for this as yes we are our families accomplishments too!

People invest in people!!!! That is key when speaking of the wage gap... thank you so much for sharing how you gained your confidence and how you filled in the gap! It’s essential as women that we share and support each other!!! It’s unfair that as women of color, the support in minimal. Thank you for reminding me to not only be my friends biggest supporter and cheerleader but BE MY OWN AS WELL! We often get so busy being who everyone else needs us to be for them that we forget to be those same things for ourselves. Thank you for this!

Reflecting on the amount of times I have downplayed accomplishments and successes makes me realize that I have some work to do on breaking down an imposed belief of humility. Thank you for the tips and for writing your book. Short, simple and life-changing. If you have more tips, please continue to share!!

I appreciate these tips! I'm definitely working on finding a mentor - I've realized that mentors can come in many forms and it doesn't always need to be a formal agreement. I've also learned to advocate for myself and work accomplishments. Thank you for sharing this message, it's a great reminder for us all.

I needed to hear this today and from a Latina woman I can relate to. I had to learn, and still in that process, to share my accomplishments and even to see myself as others do. Confidence takes practice and these tips are ideal to keep us on track.

Natalie has participated in over 1000 public speaking engagements, and is unapologetically brave and confident sharing her personal story navigating life from poverty to riches to empower others how to become the best version of themselves! Ask yourself, what are you doing to help uplift humanity and give back?
Take aways on how to build comfidencey:
    1. Get a mentor
    2. List your challenges and accomplishments
    3. Find a cheerleader or wingman
    4. Practice your story
    5. Celebrate your accomplishments
