16 years old he was when he undertook the arrangement.

Initially, flamenco was played percussively, but not by banging the guitar all over the place and tapping strings on the fretboard.
It saw it started 17-18 years ago in blues/folk with Andy McKee, keep evolving with Mike Dawes or Jon Gomm, and then Marcin came along adding back all of this in his energetic flamenco style.

Fun fact: Tim has been learning flamenco techniqques from Marcin. If you are an observant listener, you can hear Marcin's influence in Playing God.
I was just about say the same thing about Tim studying flamenco from MARCIN. Remember, as amazing as Tim is, and I take nothing away from him, he has a whole band to back him. MARCIN IS the entire band.
@@cutthroat6681 Tim is insanely humble. Being a guitar god himself, he still seeks for new techniques and develop new skills whenever he can.
I can definitely hear a similarity I won’t be surprised if Tim is inspired by Marcin

I just don't understand how Scott LePage isn't quite as revered as Tim? He's just as phenomenal.

You have to do his version of "Ain't No Sunshine" it is incredible. Also his NBA halftime show performance is epic. Marcin always delivers. You must react to his Classical Dragon...it is with Tim Henson. The song is so beautiful. Tim has a good part in it.
