Mainland China in Pune also is just too good.
Not Great in Bangalore and Chennai.... Quality- Staff attitude in orders and customer communication... including crowd control on Weekends.
What about Kamling, Mings and Flora? They were around before Mainland China. Those were outstanding.
Totally agree. Way better than Mainland China. My father always remembers Kamling and Flora very fondly till date. ❤

Kamling flora were very good. Add Nanking to that near Gateway. Even Ling's Pavillion is good in Colaba. It still exists

Kunal Sir, I am sitting here in Toronto and you revived my memory for Mainland China at Sakinaka Junction. I am hungry now and sadly cannot get that delicious food here. 😢
This is definitely a promotional episode. Mainland China is good but it’s too damn costly. Not worth it for the middle class. 600 for a bowl of fried rice. Very heavy on the pocket.
Food is Superb Check out the price at Dragon that is much expensive

*My first experience with Mainland China's was a corporate dinner at age 22 year old. I am tellin you , it was a great food , taste, service and ambience. I liked all varieties of food in buffet. I would thank to Speciality restaurant to giving megacities good taste and healthy food. Through MLC and Sigree.*
Chinese dishes are smooth, you keep on eating one after other...Kunal sir ate too much indulged in food.... Very refreshing vibes.... Should have started with soup....
I reside at Sakinaka and there are tons of restaurants in this locality, but nothing beats the aura and atmosphere of Mainland China. It is simply brilliant and delivers one of the most diverse cuisines 🔥

Super love their delicious Chinese cuisine they serve 👏👏. Kunal Sir to be frank, I was also eyeing ur cheesecake just like Mohit. I m a huge fan of cheese cake. Give me a choice between Chinese food or Chinese dessert like cheese cake...I would opt for the latter 😂😂 yummy episode and super like. Thank you For this Delishaaas treat. When I was working in Hilton hotel at marol Naka i wanted to eat once at mainland china but never get the chance but today I'm full watching you eat ❤❤❤❤
I love the way Kunal spears 2 shrimp, transfers them to his plate, first takes one, changes his mind and transfers both to his mouth...very amusing...keep going brother😊

Kunal sir if you want to eat authentic Chinese then go to Kolkata, I am sure you must be knowing it of course. Visit Tangra area in Kolkata for some authentic Chinese & trust me you'll forget Mainland China.
Absolutly, most Indian Chinese is nothing but chemical cocktail.... Can't escape Acetic acid notes or some other preservative in every dish.

Please ask the restaurants to use plastic chopping boards and use wood or bamboo ones.
The owner is Anjan Chatterjee, a bengali and their HQ is in Kolkata. They also have multiple famous brands under their name like OH! Calcutta....Sigree..Fame n grill...Haka....etc.
Good to have such great dining places back at home(Kolkata). It goes without saying.. if u wanna taste authentic chinese...then come to Kolkata.
There was this restaurant on Bangalore named Ginza on church Street behind MG road.
It closed down as I was growing up. I am talking my primary and high school days. More than 20 years back.
I will guarantee you that it was the best Chinese food restaurant and I have never got a taste close to that food anywhere in India. I still remember the taste of the food. The way the vegetables were chopped, it was straight out of the best culinary school in china.

Funny thing is in China, edamame, chickpeas, peanuts and a flat noodles look alike seaweed are complementary as starter, you don’t need to pay any for that, and I am not saying about just good restaurants, any roadside restaurants in China you’ll get at least one the food items mentioned above are free.

I am still waiting for a Chinese culinary giant to enter the Indian market. DIN TAI FUNG. Once you eat their Xiao Long Baos or Chicken Dimsums, you will forget these Mainland Chinas and others.
Not so, there is a typical Indian spice flavour in the Indian Chinese version, which is unbeatable. But besides Mainland China and other big restaurants being expensive, I also loved the street Chinese, fewer dishes, but as tasty.

All said and done abt 'Mainland China', a great place but dont you think you should be eating with chopsticks? As you are eating here from 30 years, you should by now be good with thwm.
I tried mainland China bandra linking Rd branch but I didn't liked it all ..... nearby stomach Chinese is thousand times better than this in indo Chinese food menu and it almost 95% cheaper .many viewers are calling it as authentic Chinese but the authentic Chinese food version is not even 1% similar to indo Chinese food served in India .....i have been to China 1000 times but didn't dared to ate the authentic Chinese food ...

This is Indian Chinese not 100% Chinese which we eat in hk, China, Taiwan.
Their gravies are all identical in different colours 😒. I'd give them a 1/10, at best 2 for fresh ingredients.
