      Game is still buggy and it will never be what was originally promised. Definitely better though, less crashes and the NPCs don't just crouch and stand there when you fire your weapon. The Police are still crap and spawn behind you and There's still a lot of work to be done on the game but It's a step in the right direction.

    Why do you gotta trash on CP77 so hard? This update was awesome. They fixed a lot of things, balanced the game, added QoL stuff, fixed drops and most importantly dropped the console optimizations that it so desperately needed. Did you even read the patch notes? The game is now an above average game. And for those of us who still play the game, they added things to the romances in the game that makes sense if you're romantically involved.

    Ima wait until the game is maybe 5 years old and then go back to the game for a full play through.

    The Titanreach story is even worse than how you made it out to be. They actually never got enough backers from Kickstarter so it shifted to their site where people could donate money for production. Eventually there was a anonymous donator (This person is no longer anonymous given the fallout), would was going to fund the entire project no questions asked. It was this money from the anonymous donator that the lead dev of Titanreach blew on crypto. Dev came clean and the donator cut funding, but still paid the last month payment so the dev team wasnt left high and dry with debt. I truly hope this donator didn't lose faith in humanity over all of this, because he got burned badly by just trying to give a hand to a project that actually had promise before the crypto shit.

    • @allrequiredfields
      @allrequiredfields 2 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      I'm guessing the guy just has an insane amount of money and was understanding of the crypto gamble (a lot of otherwise intelligent people have been burned by crypto) and he probably believed the dev was really trying to multiply the fund via crypto, for the purpose of dumping it back into the game.

      @Goldenkitten1 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Crowdfunding will ALWAYS be a risk but Kickstarter needs better oversight as right now its a haven of scams. And for those that aren't *AT A BARE MINIMUM* Kickstarter needs to give creators access to resources that give them a vague idea of business. I have seen SO many Kickstarters go into a permanent hiatus because the creators were genuine and had great ideas but who were very inexperienced when it came to business and thought they could lowball a project only to run out of funds at 20% completion forcing them to either work in the red in their free time for a decade or far more commonly leave an unfinished project. And Kickstarter also needs to give those resources to backers so they can see if a creators dream is even realistic at what they're budgeting.

    "Cyberpunk is still not a perfect game".
    Lets see, so far it runs smooth on the ps4 pro, has awesome aesthetics, game and object design, the cars are awesome with awesome fleshed out interiors, even the fucking plastic chairs are cyberpunk.
    The driving now reels right, combat is finally great amongst other fixes.
    The weather systems are now functioning and full reflections on roads and surfaces with sand storms that make the game look like blade runner 2049.
    Yeah it still crashes sometimes but damn it's a gorgeous game.

    I love how Cyberpunk did the update where they fixed AI and driving mechanics but the weird thing is that the npc you're romancing might send you nudes(which granted it is) but then Falcon acts like that was the entire update and that was CDPR plan to get Cyberpunk fixed... I feel like someone should've watched back that last entry before they uploaded it. It doesn't seem like it's a weird entry but you just slamming cyberpunk for adding a small feature and portraying that as all that they did when they did a lot more then that.
    I've noticed that in a lot of Gameranx videos lately. The first handful of entries will be normal on par with the title then near the end it starts bordering on a being a different topic all together. Like ya the fact the CDPR added that feature is weird but you just made it seem like CDPR added that, made a big deal about it, thinks their game is fixed and you're making it sound like the game is still the way it was at launch. Unlike the rest of the entries(besides Agony and the sick kid. That didn't seem weird. A sick kid asked make a wish for something and he got it. That's fucking amazing not weird) where it was straight forward and on topic and sounded completely unbiased.
    Edit: If I remember correctly the news that the NPC's send you nudes came out AFTER the update had launched so if that's the case then Falcon just genuinely hasn't read the patch notes and is assuming the patch is bullshit. Good job guys definitely need someone watching these back to make sure they're on topic and have proper information behind the entries.

    • @CheddarTheShredder
      @CheddarTheShredder 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@sopianwahyudi It was and the nudes do belong in a weird gaming stories list but how he presented it was just bad. No real information behind any of it and it's all negative opinion. He could've been completely unbiased and gone with "Cyberpunk released a new update and it's massive. It apparently will make this, this and this better but the weird part is that the NPC you're romancing will now send you nudes" and gone on from there but no it's literally "Cyberpunks launch was bad so even after 5 big patches it's the exact same game and how CDPR plans to fix it is have NPC's send you nudes. Games bad" just sad really.

    Whenever gameranx mentions Cyberpunk 2077, you can just tell they are unashamedly salty. Just the way they framed that entry implies that the massive 60 GB update is just boobies, and a lot of people are just going to think it is and not play it, or even tell other people to not play it because it's "just boobies".
    I get it, you're mad about the ridiculously misleading marketing, that it's a looter shooter that wrongly wishes it was an RPG, that Tipple A games no longer release in a perfect state because of the ballooning code. man, reducing the relationship update in CP2077 to "titties" is just wrong. There was a clear gap after completing any of the relationships in the game, so they made it a bit better by some texts and other stuff. Helps with the immersion the game is going for. Also saying that the update did only that is disingenuous. A whole lot of fixes were made to the game, and it is more stable than ever. There are still a lot of bugs, but the play experience is a lot smoother now, and lot more polished. They still have a lot of work ahead if they want to make it the game they said it would be, but this a right step in the right direction.

    • @challengegravity
      @challengegravity 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Agreed. I've been playing Cyberpunk with mods until the patch, and did a fresh install once it dropped - haven't had any crashes at all in the dozen hours I've been playing and thankfully many mods still function just fine. Apart from the previous bugs/crashes, Cyberpunk always ran really well for how much is going on, even on my laptop! But CDPR have made it even better. Still a bit of fine tuning and QOL updates to be desired in the interfaces, but it's a big step forward and anyone on the fence about playing can feel safe to get down and try it. The free (console) demo is very generous of CDPR and I hope they may do the same for PC gamers. Amazing story, world, visuals, gameplay and now performance too.
      Also, there were always tiddies. This is CDPR after all... The nudes are just a small part of all the new relationship updates to make it feel more personal, and specifically for people playing the uncensored game.

    I will say, I held off getting Cyberpunk until the PS5 version came out, I've now got it and I haven't had a single issue as yet in perhaps 15 hours of play. I will say that I've seen a couple of small glitches, but man if people are willing to play Skyrim or Fallout and not get hung up on the glitches Bethesda games put out, then I don't know what else CDPR can do at this point.
    So far quite an interesting game and a very interesting world

    • @challengegravity
      @challengegravity 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Good to know it's running so well on consoles. I've been playing it on PC and was juggling mods to improve the game until the patch - now it runs just fine and it's only the mods that are the wildcard (though the game is much better at handling them too). Just you wait until you get to know the characters better - Cyberpunk is deeper and more moving than almost any game I've ever played and I was not expecting it at all.

What more important to me is the response. It doesn't matter if a monitor has a 1200hz refresh rate if it takes a full second longer than a 60hz monitor to show me what is happening.

    • @tallAldiProduction
      @tallAldiProduction 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      technically that's true, but they never refresh the whole image at 600hz but just parts of it. It's called subframes and it's also dependent on the brightness level. So frame with low intensity would be shown shorter, than a frame with high intensity. It's basically a PWM method for dimming.

    I hate your description of the Cyberpunk patch. Yeah it added some additional content with the romantic partners, but what do you mean “if” that was all they added? The patch notes are there. We know this latest update has done plenty to improve the npc ai, the driving, the performance of the game, etc. I’ve been replaying the game and you guys know it’s much more than just adding nude pics to the game but instead you decided not to put that info in this video because you want to somehow connect an awesome Cyberpunk patch to the disaster of the game Agony. It’s not a trend and the Cyberpunk patch is hardly a weird story and yet you somehow put it as number 1 on your list. I guess there wasn’t much to talk about this month.

    Oi, the Cyberpunk update is honestly amazing! I haven't seen any texts like the one's mentioned, but it is on par with most open world games in terms of bugs (finally) and the immersion, atmosphere, character quality, action and just everything is BREATHTAKING!
    We should still hate on CD Projekt Red for their release fiasco, but the game itself is worth praising. Dissing Cyberpunk 2077 is so 2020 ;P

    • @challengegravity
      @challengegravity 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

  • @Leongon

    The more frames the better for two reasons: One is so your eyes have the most up to date visual to work with even if you can't perceive each individual frame, and Two because any improvement in framerate also lowers input lag which it's a huge deal in VR or anything competitive or that requires precision like shooters.

    OK, 1) I didn't even know until watching this that my copy of Agony Unrated now says Purchase instead of play, so thanks for the info. 2) Im pretty sure I originally got Agony for the uncensored-ness since depictions of Sin and Hell (and similar stuff) are more... raw or hardcore for a lack of a better word atm when uncensored. I barely notice the nakedness between running and sneaking around for my life while playing. Also, I haven't even played the "normal" version for this reason.
