    Two things.............Always support the oil cooler with another wrench on the cooler housing when tightening the drain plug.
    YUP............the MO-899 filter is the CORRECT filter for everyday driving.
    The SRT filter is for track use, where you would be changing the oil MUCH more often.

    I like seeing that there is a filter drip tray. My 02 4.7 has it and it's a great feature for making things a little less messy. Hopefully the 24 is the same way. About to do my first oil change on it.

    Great video, I was thinking about running this cooler on my 6.4 Restomod GTX is there any chance that you have more photos for the cooler and how it is mounted in the truck? I have to modify ot of course and there is a set up with all the parts attached to the cooler just like what you have, I had asked for measurements of the cooler but they don't seem to care. Any chance you might be able to give me the dimensions of the cooler and the part that holds the cooler. I am not sure how yet but it would be cool if I can make it work in a professional way. Thanks John

    why don't you use srt filter, and where did you drain the oil from the pipe? is it obligatory?

    • @superbrowndudenational_trx
      @superbrowndudenational_trx  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I don't see a purpose to use the srt oil filter as this Mopar filter meets the same spec as the SRT filter(also mopar) I also change my oil more frequently, and you should definitely drain the oil cooler as it's part of the service.

    • @superbrowndudenational_trx
      @superbrowndudenational_trx  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @ThePasserGenius The oil cooler gets refilled from the engine, after the engine starts the oil cooler will be filled. It does not require any additional oil added from a second location.

    Hi how are you?
    I trust you and would like to ask a question. I have a deposit down for a Ram TRX limited edition ignition edition 2022 I want to ask is it a good car? I’ve never owned Ram. Would you recommend it more than the F150? Any problems you’ve seen with them or heard about?I don’t want to make a mistake it’s a big purchase it’s a limited car I’d love your feedback and recommendation. I’m in Texas.

      Great truck and build quality, far more superior than any Ford product in terms or interior and power. Its also proving to hold its value better than the Raptor. There is no comparison between the two!.... However the fuel consumption is very real Hahaha!

    • @superbrowndudenational_trx

      The brand shouldn't matter, did you use the specified weight of oil 0w40? Are you sure they are metal shavings on the dipstick?
      If you can, drain the oil, check it with a magnet, cut open the oil filter as well.
