Something that just jumped out at me. If the area that "Brushy Bill met the reporter at was supposedly near Hico, Tx, then Hico has went from being in the middle of the desert to being on the edge of the Texas hill country in less than a century.

It was at a place during the holidays in Berwick Pa where we have been known to show up alone with girlfriends or sometimes together. The owners know us the staff too. These kids at nearby booth were getting way out of hand and the owner and his old hand waitress Beth told em to just calm down don't be so damn disrespectful. Well Jimmy stood up first. And well Jimmy he is like just a little shy of a foot taller than I am and about half an acre wider than I am now days. Jimmy walks over to their table using like 5 bigfoot style steps arms swinging like an ape he walks over to em tells em to settle down or we are gonna all have A NASCAR STYLE PIT CONFERENCE. The kids laughed in Jimmys face... Beth tries best she can with sweet talk to bring them kids around to rational way of acting in public just as I just step over they tell Jimmy to F off and as Beth covers her eyes saying you don't know who these guys are???? Then she pleads with me & Jimmy. All I see is Jimmys hand reach for the biggest kids jacket he tells me the other two are yours... That Lunch happened at 2pm that afternoon. I was there yet at 8pm cleaning up the messes me and ole Jimmy were side by side cleaning up the messes we made. The state cops laughed the whole thing off since the kids left. It was other customers that got food all over em that called the cops anyway. Beth came over as Jimmy and I were getting on our coats to leave for the night and says they just don't make real men or race car drivers like U two no more. Jimmy was complaining to me about being down on his bad knee all night. We left a trail of food and fluids all over the front of the diner that day.. I said to Jimmy y'all just couldn't have slapped the punk in his lips? Jimmy answers why do a job half assed Dutch and it wouldn't have done the job anyway no how. They got some manners regardless what they might say if asked about things, he told me. I kind of think of this movie when I think of what happened. The reasons I am watching it now... Jimmy never even flinched when the punk laughed in his face.
This was a great movie with great actors
