As I read the comments, I noticed that many of us watched this show as kids and we have a special place in our hearts for it.
As a kid watching this was so cool because whoever know who had HBO, it felt like best of the best entertainment. No commercials was awesome!

This show was before its time. I used to stay up until 10pm-11pm to watch it every Friday on HBO. Bring back Tales from the Crypt
Nooo don't bring it back!!! Are you fkn nutz bro? Don't let the algorithm feed them ideas they would ruin it as they did with the twilight zone re re re boot
@pottheed1911 I have to agree with you. I don't want anyone "re-re-rebooting this. It just wouldn't be the same.
It came on Wednesdays
I Agree with You Strongly. Bring back Tales of the Crypt But New Stories. Scare the Daylights Out of My Great Grandchildren !!!
They will just ruin it.
Let us just enjoy a time when " sticks and stones may break our bones, but words will never hurt us" . People are too sensitive to have anything good anymore.
This show was the grown ups version of Goosebumps
Yass but better 😌
this was long before goosebumps
Or are you afraid of the dark.
Goosebumps is the kids version of TFTC.
Look 👀 like Joe Biden as seen video.
As a toddler I used to watch these with my older sister. And yep, turned out to be very into horror, goth and metal. Lol.
I miss my sister so much. She passed away a few years later. But as a family, we used to watch Star Trek, Quantum Leap (the OG), Buck Rodgers, 6 million dollar man, Bionic Woman, Battlestar Galactica (OG), The A-Team on a specific Foxtel channel that I can’t remember the name of.
But Tales from the Crypt, my sister would get out the spare mattress, extra sheets and we would make a fort under the table and have the sheets around the table so we could watch the TV and be enclosed, made it spookier.
These moments I remember so fondly when I think of my sister.
That sounds like a fun time
The great ol' days !!!
When people say that “time heals all wounds”. This is what they mean. I am sorry for the loss of your sister but happy these fond memories and the fun associated with them.
Hoping you are having a good day, Fran, Staten Island, NY 😊
This is so cute 😭😭😭
She sounds like she was a great sister. So sorry for your loss
When I was a kid my older sister used to play this at full blast just to make me go to bed but the joke's on her I became a huge horror genre fan 😂
Wow what a plot twist

Lame .. old hat ..
This show takes me back to my childhood. My older brother used to try and scare me by watching these episodes. I ended up being a big fan! My brother passed away last June in a car wreck/fire. He was 41. Watching this, Beavis and Butthead and jack*ss bring back many happy memories of us growing up. He really was the best older brother any girl could ask for.
Miss you, Adam. ❤
Thank you for sharing. RIP Adam ❤
❤😢
sorry for your loss of your brother. But the words you speak of him and the fun memories are very sweet!
The older I get, the more I appreciate the phenomenal actors and actresses that took time to shoot these mini movies. Imagine reading one of these scripts and taking it so serious you think you're getting a award nomination. These 3 were one of my favorite episodes.
Lmfaoooooo
i don't really understand your perspective. Many of these actors became very accomplished. This is work for them, and they have to do their best if they want to succeed.

This is great, anyone also remember late night showings of tales from the dark side too?
I wanted to post a few volumes of the good episodes of TFTDS too, but they got blocked.
@@cloudyinpa777Too bad. Great show ❤
Yes, also Friday the 13th the series, and Monsters.
@patricklee6066 I was just mentioning that show to my daughter I used to love that show when I was a kid
Yes !!! ❤ all the creepy shit that you stayed up way past your bed time to watch
I would wake up after my parents went to bed, sneak downstairs, put a blanket over the door and watch episodes on one bar of volume 12” from the screen. Great memories
Blanket to block the tv light? Good problem solving skills. If I’d been your parent I’d only be half-mad 😂
The voice of the crypt keeper, John Kassir.
❤❤❤
What I like about this series is the twist at the end of each episode. It is always a weird twist.
Its always light hearted and silly too. But also serious with foul language lol. Its a mad house show thru and thru.
I grew up watching these shows. It's crazy how many of the actors in these shows came to be A-list celebrities
I'm sorry I'm stupid which actors where they

Tales from the crypt was my ultimate favorite as a kid.!! From shows to books to anything!! I was obsessed lol love that I can watch em again after 25yrs
This show is still a big hit.
Man the memories! Loved this as a kid and sadly, kids today won’t ever experience such phenomenal shows anymore.
This is just a gem of a show. The young and talented actors, the cheesy gore and the wit of it all!❤
Plus, it reminds me of being a teenager again watching these with my brother and friends. Always a surprise ending really 😂
I was about 11 when my dad started watching this after I’d supposedly gone to bed… I fondly recall watching Tales From The Crypt in the hallway around the corner of the living room. Years later, I confessed, and my dad was happy we could share it together.
Happy Holidays, all!
I agree brings back a ton of memories!
I miss this show! I use to watch the beginning and go hide 🫣before he popped out the coffin 😨😱.
Me too 😂😂😂

lol me too when i was like 7 years old.
I did that too. We were all just dumb kids, but it's nice to not feel alone 😊
☺️☺️☺️
This, X-Files, twilight zone, and goosebumps had me in a chokehold 😅😂
Yes please bring back Tales from the Crypt and Tales from the darkside
When I grew up.. it came on Saturday midnight.. me and my lil sisters tried our best each week to stay up to watch it .. I absolutely miss those days ❤😂
Yup,I'm from Chicago and that's the time and day it came out by us.
I am surprised they didn't make remakes of this great show. The 80's really rocked back then with cheesy shows and movies. The acting was good and great entertainment as well. Thanks for sharing.
I love tales from the crypt ❤
Man this show is just jam packed with talent. From the writing, directing, sets and effects, and especially all of the great actors. Never has there been a better blend of horror and dark comedy, macabre and camp. They nailed it.
I grew up with this show. Don, bobcat and lovitz... just shows how much potential this show had. I wish they had good enough actors to bring this show back
Ventriloquist Dummy is the textbook definition of 'They had us in the first half, not gonna lie'
😂😂
Three's A Crowd.
No spoilers. 😈
looking back on these now, i never realized how many big name stars did tales from the crypt. now a days you wouldn't see this because its all about how much money instead of having love for acting
Jon Lovitz is awesome in this!
That's his name! Thank you!!!! Couldnt think of it. I was like the the big horny bird from little Nikki lmao
Aww. Love this! When i was young, i used to sneak and watch this every single week! Lol! Years later, my Dad told me that they would then sneak up on ME and make sure i was okay! They always knew what i was up to the entire time! Such great memories! ❤❤❤
I do remember most of these actors, I'm happy to see that you are still showing to others! GBU, NZ.,✌🥰👍😉
who is GBU?
@@FO-DAT2023 That means; God Bless You!
Definitely brings back nostalgia. We would have family night when this show would be on.
My favorite line will forever be "making an asshole casserole" 😂
The intro into the haunted mansion and decent into the dungeon cellar was always creepy and scary as hell as a kid. I always watched these.
That's the best part, but we don't get that on these videos 😢
Kevin and Lance are nuts in the cutting cards role. lolz 🤣🤣🤣
Ya one of the best episodes from the entire series.
Always stood out in my memories of the show.
Boy there are some great names acting in these old Tales From the Crypt episode. Keep your eyes open for the talent, and the thick, steaming slices of cheese!
Wouldn't the thick steaming slices of cheese be melted?
@@tomtroy3792not if its fake cheese lol
@tomtroy3792 the steaming cheese is the best part.
John Kassir's voice is so enchanting.... it literally starts with me smiling from his puns, and then drags me into the episode... 😃😄
Me Too !!! And don't forget the whispering !!!
My mom used to do the laugh perfectly lol. This was a family show 😅

I use to love watching this TV show all the time at grandmas house when I was a kid
Good ole grandma’s house lol! I did the same thing!
I swear to God the first dream I can ever recall is HIM popping his head from under my crib while laughing infamously and me not screaming because I literally recognize him from watching the show with my parents lmao!
I don't know if it was a real dream or if I imagined it but that memory has been in my head since I was 3 😂
Loved watching the Crypt Keeper, glad I found it again
I LOVE WHEN SERIES HAVE SERIES INSIDE OF SERIES.
42:58 "What are you doing? I'm splitting up the act"
Classic..... I dont even know what this would be categorized as.. Comedy? Horror? Hor-Com? Com-hor? LOL. The fact that I can't even clarify is why it's awesomeness....
This was one of my favorite shows!
Maybe HorCom
I loved this & the Twilight Zone.
Grew up loving this show. Really happy to see old episodes of it here on YT.
My son is 33 and heard me watching this and got up and moved lol. It's the crypt keeper for him that does it..
It's a bit strange, but I've been feeling like I'm being gang stalked lately... 😳 And with my ruined slot leaking for six years now, it's like a constant, uh, flow creeping out of my crypt. 🌚💦 Just a heads up, careful - I'm ticklish. 😅
So, ever think about diving into the shadows with me, my unsuspecting friend? 😟💀 There's this eerie connection to the Bermuda Triangle - mysteries upon mysteries. 👽✨ And, well, I kinda know the secret of the Bermuda Triangle. It's three "brack guys," and they're, um, coming for both of us. 😬 Would you pretty please consider it? 🙏🏻💔

1. Tales from the Dark side
2. Tales from the Crypt
3. Monsters
4. Friday The 13th-the series
I love Tales From The Dark Side and got my 68 yr old Mom at the time to watch it too. The Teddy Bear scared us so badly. She guessed the ends of those really well 😂😡🙃
I even smelled that same scent from childhood while watching this 😊
I watched all shows listed. I miss those times.
Creepshow 1/2 had some great stuff
Or Stephen King’s ‘Cat’s Eye’ with the 3 different stories was another good 80’s horror flick.
Oh can’t forget about ‘The Gate’!
Great 80’s horror movie that was able to get under your skin - little obscure but excellent special effects from what I remember.
Miss those days.
The hitchhiker was good to
As an Aussie bush kid Ive never seen this programme before. Love it!
Binge watch coming up. Thanks.☮️
LOL.. I was in the 4th grade when i saw the chop poker episode.. I went to school the next day and told everyone in my class about it and no one believed me that people would chop off every limb of their body to win a game of poker.

The one episode that stands out in my memories as well.
Great show.

For all its hair-raising worth, the fourth segment "The New Arrival" is a brilliant conceptual piece extraordinaire. Bizarrely absurd, horrifically staged and just shockingly good-crazy. Gotta hand it to the scriptwriters! Nora's the epitome of mummy-horror, surely.
The mental maze played out within the architectural mayhem of a mad fun-house - one has to wonder how much it inspired Stephen King and his ilk.
Psychology was/is never an exact science many contend. Simply because to this day the very best head-shrinkers in the world are still grasping at intangibles, cobwebs lurking/enmeshed within this urgh! mushy, slimy mass inside the cranium. Correct me if I'm mistaken but psychology has yet to win a Nobel Prize all these decades. Gracias.
It’s the best to see this again. My dad would let me stay up to watch it with him and my uncle just had to wait till my mom went to sleep lol.
All the stories are parodies. I liked the ventriloquist part in which it turns out it wasn't about the "talent" but literally about a small second man who played the "dummy." 😅 Dark
they age like fine wine .
My parents let me watch these as a kid. Loved every episode!!!!!
Me too. Best show ever!!! I was born in 81. Gotta love the 80s.
sounds like cool parents to me
@@hypnos9336 sound like 80s and 90s parents to me, not todays delicate snowflakes
this show is pretty scary compared to what we have today.
I was born in London in 83 I watched this alot as an early teen when I stay the night at my friends house 😂 wow, you can see how far the bars been raised in regards to overall quality in picture etc..still a part of my childhood though 🇬🇧🇺🇲✌❤
Well, it was more of an artform back then.
And how far the bars been LOWERED as far as talent as well
I still love the look of old film
Ya know, I can't believe I was allowed to watch this as a kid.
😂same- gotta love when our parents got HBO!
I agree with you all....a LOT of major names appear in this series. Idk I wasnt more of a watcher of this show but its been cool to catch them now!
I adore everything about this show and especially the laugh 😂😂😂😂😂😂

The only thing missing for me is the theme music. That makes the series for me. I knew every little part of it! ❤ 🎶🎵

Holy sheit I remember waking up to this on tv late at night as a kid and being freaked out by the host 😂😂 Walt’s thought it was a fever dream but this actually was real😮
Thanks for posting🤝
I was on tour with the " Royal Lipizzaner Stallions " as Dressage rider when this show was in it's heyday !
All of would go to their respective hotel rooms late after the evening show . I don't know if the others watched this but after a shower , I'd tuck myself into bed , find " tales from the crypt " and enjoyed the show ! Then off went the lights until the alarm clock rang at 5 am for the day to begin all over again !
Tales from the Crypt was a constant in my life when it was a new city every day - everything else was changeable .
Those were the days ! 😊
As a kid from the age of 2 till now I love this show
Back when the cameras were gigantic and every schmo with a phone couldn't be on film it had to be a work of art made by practiced artists to make it on TV. We didn't know how good we had it.
lol the way casting director just didn’t give af and started flossing her teeth! 😂🤣
My dad got us hooked. We would come running from where ever we were kn the house when we heard the song. ❤😂
At least he got the part.
That last episode was actually really creepy.
Thats the fun part. Theres a lot of goofy horror things, but theres also some very serious well done horror stuff. You dont know what you are gonna get when the episode starts. Its great.
Yeah, that's going to happen when you've got the lady from poltergeist 👻 acting in an episode 😂....
Used to watch this series when I was a teen. I loved the, Crypt Keeper, I thought he was wickedly funny. Some segments were pure comedy horror. Lol 🙂👍👍
I used to love this show. Thank you so much.
