I love that last line for Jack. Hes usually a dopey boy and doesnt really know what happening, but at that moment, he knew the silver dragon murdered his good friend. So the dragon was going to pay, world or anything else be damned.
I think jack can be serious if something happen to his friend and most importantly ridley, in the non human path, jack fighting the entire world for ridley sake
@@NerdOnGaming Yeah, I love the way the music cuts off when Jack gives those last lines, it was some serious shit then lol I still have the my ps2 and and guidebook sitting on my shelf in my room, in case I get the urge to play it again 😂
I'm so torn between both endings. I love the non-human ending because it feels like the proper path, since you get to continue the adventure with Ridley, Ganz, etc. and you get your father's sword to use. But at the same time there are so many great human characters that you'll never get to recruit in the non-human path. PLUS, Gloomy Dance for Human Path Final Boss, blows the other track out of the water imo. The way it kicks in after Jack's anger erupts is just too good. I wish there was a third path with a mix of the two sides.
Yeah it's hard to choose between both path, in the non human's path you have to fight the entire human race to save ridley, but in the human's path you befriend with human but ridley died in the end and he seems lonely, i guess it's impossible to reunite both race because in the beginning they seems to be fine, but after ridley died and revived using the dark faires, she became different and because of that event the relation between human and non human is getting worse
Since the humans wanted to dominate the non-humans and thus, began the process towards annihilation of the world, the non-human path is the right path. It's what I chose and I don' think anyone would disagree.
Human side funnily enough felt like a bad ending, where you didn't choose the right choices and ended up with something that felt incomplete. You don't even reunite with Ganz, you only reunite with Ridley once, and feels like the lore was never explained properly and Jack just bumbles around killing dragons without really knowing what he's doing. Yeah, this game felt like it needed a third "true" route (like for example a recent RPG with multiple endings and 1 "true" ending: Triangle Strategy) where you unite the non-humans and humans to build a better future. Kinda crazy a game that started so light-hearted and comedic ends with either MC's girl dies because of him (indirectly) or killing every humans in the planet.
