One one hand - I agree with you on the "Legendary powers are now not so Legendary". On the other - with the ammount of bullshit, that is going on in Act 2, which, I would make a wild guess here - not the last one in dev's plans, combined with Mythic gear - kinda expected, you know what I mean? Like - that is "earned power", that is given to "invested" character, which is part of that character's "progression". So to counteract the "what the actual fuck?" of the mobs you have somewhat equal "ama slap the shit out of y'all" characters. But man did the buffed the Basic attack builds. Was farming tallent points for Skadi yesterday and two/three shoting Necromancer. Also I haven't encountered the "respec all" bug, that you've got, for me it just unspeced the selected character.

However, the boost makes sense because of the chaos on act 2. He doesn't feel that the gear should be taken away from the players as they've earned it. The changes allow players to not feel overwhelmed with mobs that are absolutely crazy like, spontaneous, almost unavoidable, etc.
IMO they could add skills that need other skills to unlock, like you can only get the Mort Strike that summon Ghost if you have a Skill that Curses enemies thing like that.
@@gamingwithjeff That is actually good to know, what they could also do, since this exist is maybe add to the skills descriptions of what they will unlock if you choose it like your example, any skills of Mort that applies curse could on the description that it will unlock Mayhem, this would help new players make more builds.

I don't disagree but I would rather them balance out and maybe add some more talents as well. Nixi especially feels like she got a super weak tree compared to the others.
I have been loving to pick up range Merris with the cast projectile weapon so far and has become my farming build. Gets to 50+ every run and can so fast on darkness 30 that you do not get to see the mobs and has good variety for good gods. Just the pickup range for me adds 200% damage to casts.
1 SHOT build : On last boss Build here (17k DPS on Sickles)... 53 Skulls of difficulty... could have more DPS on lvl100 and more health to monsters. I Did 1 Auto --> And the Djinn died. LvL 20 Warped Strike + lvl 10 Sickles of death + 5 Legendaries = Was a perfect game for me 1) Take LORIEN, the archer guy + the blue bow with 12% crit on it called "Sharpshooter" if you can... with 815 DPS --> Better than mythic bows. 2) Take the talent 🔵> that makes you do 3 times your 🟠Strike spells when you crit. --> 200'000 damage per Sickles (MORT ability). 3) KROM --> 🔴>.. to get up to +90% Damage on Bosses and Barrier (Elites).. Take nothing else, go for Alterations to get other Gods or Banish all KROM Skills. --> Why Krom? Because we want his 🟤Legendary skill "+220% Attack" 4) MORT --> for the ability 🟠> at lvl 10, it does like 600% the damage of your Auto-Attack per Sickles... for big 200'000 damage --> With the talent tree, you will pop 3 of those Sickles on every crit... and mutliple time per Autos.. because you have a spray of arrows. 1 single Auto can proc 9+ Sickles... all doing 200'000+ damage to the last boss. 5) TIME --> take 🟢> to lvl 20 if possible... I got it to level 20 last time... Take NOTHING else... But I have 15 Alteration and 9 Banish to help me ^^ --> +🟤GEM HIGH Legendary 6) MOIRAI --> Crit and Splinter (for more arrows) --> For more Proc of your busted passive. Same for your 🔵Talent points --> Crit / Pierce / Bounce arrows. + 🔵Ranger Mark for Crits too. 7) ITEMS : You want Full Master and Legendary Offers. You want Full % Attack Damage... Like 80% on your Relic.. 60% on Amulet.. 40% on Hands ... 40% on ring (+20%Legendary) And you are good. I have 16% MASTER offers and 66% Legendary offers. How? Because I have a belt called WASTE : +120 life +5% MASTER +30% LENGEDARY -0.2 Life Regeneration --> So you lose little life... but juste take a tiny Life on Attack Hit, and you are good to go. Like the Hands > +5% Chance to heal 1 life on attack Hit +40% Attack Damage +1800 Shard Pull Area --> It's busted for life steal
Not yet, but coming soon, Act 2 update added a lot. Basically to get good gear do a bunch of act 2 runs at as high difficulty ( up to 30) that you can consistently beat
hard disagree on the legendaries, they are very fun to build around, so it makes sense to get a lot of them with the right gear from a fun perspective...you don't get that much legendary skills without the lamp anyway, so i don't see the problem
I just did a dash Merris holy crap area dash skills is a freaking laugh. Auto cast on dash Cast skills take 1-2 cast skills, i used Blades got it level 10 got 26,3m and 22,7k dash. The skill you get for free on tree had 1m, 1.5kdps the goal is auto cast on dash skill with chance to repeat cast when a cast skill is cast.
Legenderies need either a power reduction, or to completely axe legendary offer % by 70%, so it's more in line to the consistency of the low 20% legendary offer of last act i know people will hate that idea cause they're Fomo but it's not healthy for a long term gameplay loop. I floated the idea about to some that we spoke about with whole idea of the "Mythic" or "Ascended" tier above legendary instead, and everyone agreed The Inner Peace tooltip reflects the true value now but it was bugged before and healing 10x more than it should, they patched it.
I was thinking about it some more. What if there was like, "perfect/enchanted" versions of legendary blessings that have additional effects. That way the devs don't have to make entirely new skills but you could get the feeling of high rolling blessings that is currently missing. Honestly that could apply to all blessings
I agree legendaries are too common. I have 30% Master chance and 100% Legendary chance on my default set of "do all" gear. I roll past legendaries constantly. It turns out a lot of them suck. I'd personally like to see legendary chance removed as a gear stat and give them a baseline chance, ensuring permanent rarity. Then buff them to proper legendary status.
I think Legends took a back seat from the fact that damage now has an extra multiplier from talents. I trust the devs to figure it out in the future, they did an enormous amount for one update.
Nah, Winter is here, still trying to find the best way to optimize her. Her legendaries are still crazy and since they are easy to get she's likely a lot better than people think
Talents are way too op so far (like stomp), but i guess as you increase difficulty some things may fall off. Great update overall. Soulstone survivors and Boneraiser Minions used to be my favorites and now i feel like DMD is rapidly growing to be the best one out there. Equipment system is just too good. Not a new thing but i would recommend Golden Kamuy to anyone who watches anime (i'm on s4 right now). It is insane. A (mostly khm khm) mature show with one of the best cast of characters i ever saw. Crazy mix of serious and funny.
I agree about the talents but mainly in thr sense that some are WAY to strong than the others. Since it's a single player game it's fine if the balance isint perfect but things like stomp really hinder build variety
Depends on what act and difficulty you are losing on. The update made it more important to understand and have more synergy between your talents/gear/blessings so it's a bit more complicated.
+1 slots are not worth imo you are just nerfing yourself. 12 or more banish is best start too get 1 lvl on you ll not use and max your main build is unbeatable if you get purple or red offers and justice retribution is op
Yeah, I can feel the beginning of a power creep. Like, before playing the new update I watched your stream and was quite surprised seeing Merris with 200+ hp, but after clearing a few runs of act 2, I think 200 is not even that high, in one run the Djinn without any Darkness buffs damaged me for 400 hp with nigh unavoidable Hellfire. Not to mention a lot of damage that is basically impossible to dodge. Now to be successful you have to deal thousands of damage per second. And this is just act 2 of, supposedly, 4 acts in total, I kinda fear that we're gonna see absolutely absurd numbers. Also, running Act 1 now becomes kinda meaningless since tier 2 gear is just better, so doing act 2 corpse runs with undergeared character is just a superior option in every way.
act 1 is still useful to level up weak heroes and power level increase makes sense for act 2, the game still has diablo-esque elements and it makes sense to have a lot of meta progression
I'm hopeful it continues in a d2 route and we eventually get nightmare/hell modes so we aren't always focused on the last map. But, yknow early access game and all

We need more skillpoints. They should make last row be unique (you can pick only 1) but we need at least 40 skillpoints if not 50.
