i’m planning on wrapping my M4 by myself here in a week (i’ve gotten it wrapped before, thought i’d give it a try myself) any tips you can share with me and any tools you recommend me buying before I start? Thank you so much bro! Also is it necessary to take off absolutely all the trim, headlight/taillights and others?

Taking off what can come off will make the job much easier! No special tools just the basic blades, magnets and keeping the squeegee wet. Take your time and it will come out flawless!
