200 subscribers to almost 7,000 in less than 9 months. Nice job. I have a farm house in ruins on 20 acres in southern Italy. There’s hundreds of Olive trees there so fixing up that house and harvesting the olives has been something I’ve been thinking about for a while now. My Aunts pick as many olives as they can use for olive oil but 90% go to waste which is such a shame.
Thanks! Ya it's exciting! I'm actually only 31 away, but you can't see that until later. I never would have imagined having such a active subscriber base too. So cool about your property. Sad they haven't found a way to use it all, but sounds like a great project.
Sambucca is a beautiful town.. it's sad you never got to chat to the locals and learned about the history and taken a tour of the old Arab quarters....one of the most welcoming communities in Sicily...
Yes, I hope to come back with the family for the real experience. I was only able to talk to one resident who shared some minor details last time I came.

No people around because there are non.Any young person has long gone to try to earn a living. All small towns in Italy are dead zones.Even most large ones in the south of Italy. The roads are not as good as a 3rd world here.Ever been to the Phillipines ?

Sambuca does not have an airport. What airport do I fly to, I am from the US,
I'd do Palermo for best flight options
My last name Sambuca. There's 2 Sambuca towns on the main land
So cool! Which one do you think you come from?
Is there a link to the face book group?
Ya, it's on the cover of the channel page, but here it is as well.

Devi girare e confrontarti con la gente del luogo per capire di cosa tratta e il perché
Streets look as bad as Dallas. At least they have the decency to put a sign up; in Dallas, Drive at your own risk.
Haha.. I've never been, but I trust you. In the end it was quite the adventure. Makes me want to visit Dallas!
