Beautiful projects!!!!💖💖💖💖Becky, I have found to keep a large printable from bubbling. I brush on a generous coat of Modpodge to the back of the printable. Once it’s dry. I then place the printable, right side up on my surface. Then place parchment paper over the printable and iron with a hot iron. The heated iron melts the modpodge on back of the printable on your chosen surface. It works BEAUTIFULLY.❤️

Wood projects, I paint the board with ModPodge and if I feel like I might have missed a spot, I put another thin coat of ModPodge and let it dry completely. After it dries, I iron my napkin or whatever on without steam. Never a wrinkle…
I watched another crafter and she had a piece of board that was grooved out in the center sort and she would place her flower pots on to t so she could stencil or put molds on to them without them moving. I loved all your projects today. I love the bird ness with the speckled white eggs and white strings in the nest also.
Becky, everything you make is just lovely! I really would love to decorate my whole home in this style but my husband won't let me. So for now, my craft room will have to do. 🌸 A little tip for stenciling is to go along the edge of your stencil with the paint you used on your surface and allow it to dry. Then use your contrasting color to fill in your stencil. It helps keep the edges of the stencil crisp.

Don't you just LOVE Amy Howard products? I am drawn more and more to using Amy Howard, and almost exclusively use her stencils because the mesh and adhesive backing makes it so easy! I notice you are using PERMANENT inks, not water soluble ink pads, for your projects. It's important to understand the difference. Your tea towels turned out so nice and I love the pillow. I'm especially drawn to the book project because I totally enjoy making over books, stacks of books, and I think birds and nests just can't be beat.....unless it's bees. LOL Thank you, Becky. A lovely and well-demonstrated video.
I do love Amy Howard products, but have never purchased the Makers Studio stencils. I only use permanent inks, then I don’t have to remember what I stamped that tea towel with 😂. I’m a fan of all things birds and bees too Sharon!

Hello and thank you for watching! Yes, I do use permanent waterproof ink. Once the ink dries, I iron to heat set the design. It is then washable in cold water, gentle cycle, no bleach. Thank you for your question!

Hi Elaine! I do not seal my chalk paint before stamping. I tried it, and found my ink not absorbing well and taking longer to dry. The unsealed chalk paint really grabs the ink, in my opinion. Thank you for your question and have a great day!

I use manicure scissors to cut out images. they are finer and the curve helps with curved shapes.

Hello and thank you for watching! Yes, I do use permanent waterproof ink. Once the ink dries, I iron to heat set the design. It is then washable in cold water, gentle cycle, no bleach. Thank you for your question!

Hi, I have spent hours looking for a place to get the clay mould you used. I can't find it anywhere. Is it perhaps an older mould that is no longer manufactured? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I did try the place you said you get the IOD products you use.

You can go to the Iron Orchid Designs website to find a retailer near you too. I buy the Ranger Archival Ink on Amazon. It’s permanent and waterproof and comes in so many beautiful colors. Becky, do you seal the chalk paint before you stamp as well as afterwards?
Hi Elaine! I do not seal my chalk paint before stamping. I tried it, and found my ink not absorbing well and taking longer to dry. The unsealed chalk paint really grabs the ink, in my opinion. Thank you for your question and have a great day!
Do you hand stitch the pillow closed? I got my Mom’s sewing machine and I plan on teaching myself to sew pillows.
Hi Karen! Sometimes I hand stitch them closed, but I used the sewing machine for this one. You’re going to love learning to sew, and pillows are a great beginner project. Happy Crafting!

Hello Anne! There is a search box on their website to navigate, plus suggestions of popular graphics on the landing page. Sometimes it’s easier to do a google search if you’re looking for more specific images. For instance google brings up lots of beautiful images when I search “French birds graphics fairy”.
