Fly Tying: Deer Hair Bass Popper (Part I)

Deer Hair Bass Poppers have been around for quite some time. Over the years, the quality of hair and tyer for that matter have improved a lot. Advancements in both quality of material and assortment of colors have taken these once simple yet effective patterns into another level of tying if not a work of art.
This video focuses on the selecting and tying of the actual material.

Hook: Kona XSS 1/0
Tail: Bucktail/Krystal Flash/Saddle Hackle/Marabou
Body: Deer Body Hair (Color to Preference)
Finish: Loon Soft Head
Eyes: Tyer's Choice
