In Australia Yusuf's average is 31.88, Sourav 34.80, In England yusuf average 54.33 but sourav 65.35, In India yusuf 33.73, but in Pakistan sourav average 49.33, In New Zealand yusuf average 55.23 and sourav 27.71, In South Africa yusuf average 26.10 but sourav 36.14,on srilankan soil Yusuf average 33.80 but Sourav 36.75 . I can understand Saqlain Mushtaq's answers he has to be partial, a patriot and support Pakistan cricketers and there is nothing wrong with it. However comparing based solely on facts, records/ stats, opinions of other cricketers who have played 100+ international matches & overall career:
S. Ganguly > M. Yousuf
(this was most surprising considering the number of runs, centuries, average, strike rate, wickets and wins as captain Ganguly has)
Yuvraj Singh > Shahid Afridi (No debate considering Yuvraj won player of the tournament at both T20 CWC & 50 over CWC)
V. Sehwag > S. Anwar (Anwar was a great batsman but Sehwag's overall record in both ODI & Tests is far better. Also Sehwag has wickets to his credit which Anwar doesn't.)
Kapil Dev > Imran Khan (probably the closest one since both are great players who captained their teams to CWC wins however Kapil Dev has more wickets & more runs and played against more difficult opponents such as the mighty Clive Lloyd's WI team of 1970-80's, Aus team having of Border, Thompson, Lawson & Chappell Bros. and Eng with Boycott & Greg. The best example is India winning the 1983 CWC which was unimaginable)

Babar unfortunately will end up with an underachieved career, guy has potential to easily score 25-30K runs along with atleast 70-80 100s but I don't see that happening as Pakistan won't be playing enough ODIs and Tests in the upcoming years.
Thanks PCB for destroying the peak years of Babar Azam, and it's not bad just for Babar it's overall bad for cricket of Pakistan. Red ball is the main format of cricket and if you gonna prioritize t20 format just for the sake of money our team will never flourish in the Test format. And this reflects on our domestic circuit as well, we can clearly see a downfall in the quality of our red ball domestic cricket.

90s Afridi was ahead of his time. He was attacking player with both bat and bowl.
Afridi (1997-2002) was better than Yuvraj Singh (2000-2014) but Afridi (2003-2014) form was not good enough which means Yuvraj was better than him. In terms of trophies, Afridi won as a captain T20 wc 2009 whereas Yuvi won as a player T20wc 2007 , 2011 wc, 2014 championships trophy. Afridi had more wickets whereas Yuvi had more runs. Overall both were very impactful cricketers of their respective teams.
Younis Khan was the captain of Pakistani cricket team in the 2009 T20 world cup. Saheed Afridi was the man of the tournament in that t20 wc.

No comparison between Yuvraj & Afridi..... Yuvi was batsman who can bowl..... & Afridi was a bowler who can bat.... Plus yuvi was one of the best fielder this game has ever produced..... Just the fact that yuvraj's career was cut short due to cancer when he was in his peak, otherwise he would have been the next big thing in cricket history..... Never the less, in that span also he made Indian world champion in white ball Cricket & stepped up in the most critical condition.... Which Afridi never did..... Hence as a complete player or batsman Yuvi was far ahead of Afridi but as a bowler Afridi was better.....
