  • 4k Driving. St. George is a city in southwestern Utah. Nearby Snow Canyon State Park offers trails, dunes and red sandstone cliffs. Sand Hollow State Park features a large reservoir. Stately 19th-century buildings such as the Pioneer Courthouse and Brigham Young Winter Home dot downtown. The St. George Art Museum houses historical photos and work by regional artists. Zion National Park, with canyons and streams, lies northeast.

Just a tip, try covering more of the city than just a few blocks of the center. Cruise Sunset, Dixie Drive, Riverside, River Rd, Red Cliffs, Telegraph....your videos make it look like a little town

Just so you know this area gets up to about 110°F - 115°F in the day, and 90 °F at night in the summer time. I would personally visit in Spring, Fall, or Winter if you want to experience nice mild weather. I live in St. George, and Summer is basically our winter. That’s definitely when we stay inside more and hibernate lol.

@@OregonTropics I just have a question is there a lot of resources for homeless people? I have been struggling a long time and I really need help. I grew up in Texas but I find Utah interesting I remember watching videos about Salt Lake City

Traffic isn't normally like this. St. George has 210,000 people and is a nightmare to drive around. But it's still great here you should come. Sadly most stores/restaurants avoid St. George like the plague. I also think you should make a part 2, 3, 4, 5, and maybe even 6. This covers only a tiny sliver of St. George.

      Which restaurants and stores ?

    • @LukeLamoreaux-eg7cy

@@soccerchamp81I once made a list and it took me over 4 hours. I lost that list and am still mad about it today. a couple examples are Marshall's, Burlington, Nike, Goodwill, Savers, Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, RC Willy, Bass Pro, Sams Club, Winco, Nordstrom Rack, Raising Canes, Panera, Noodles and Company, Dunkin, Shake Shack, BJ's, Cheesecake Factory, etc... we could also use seconds or even thirds of other stores we already have like Target, Costco, Lowe's, TJMaxx, 7/11's, etc... We could also use things like an Amazon Warehouse. We are getting some things which is nice like Sprouts, Hobby Lobby, REI, Costco #2, Raising Canes, Panera, Winco, etc... Stores also don't avoid us like the plague. I found out why nothing is really opening here. It's mostly because there are only 5-6 strip malls in the whole county and no REAL strip malls are being built. Its sad to say this, but we need another 1 or 2 just to fit things (like the stuff I named) a city our size would have.

That is fine by me the less media coverage we get the better. We don't want more video coverage. Less people means less on our dwelleding resources.

there are hundreds of stores and restaurants. i don't want to make a list again. i made one once and it took 4 hours and i lost it :(
but i realized it's because nobody is developing retail areas besides super tiny corners. all we get is neighborhoods of hundreds of white houses.

except we'll always be a popular tourist spot because one of the most visited national parks is in our metro with another nearby. also we can't just stop growth or the market would crash hard and pretty much everyone would have to move besides millionares and local businesses would shut down. just like what happened to boulder, co

Your being misled traffic is horrible here. Not like back east but not what I remember and I've lived here 44+ years. He must be driving on Sunday also cause traffic is way less on that day as most are in church or don't go out.
