    Thank you. I was really hoping this video existed when I got mine delivered today.

    The X15 looks very good on that Maverick.

    I hope my install goes this smoothly. I'll know in a couple of days. I bet it will. Nice looking cover.

      How did the install go? I still don't no if I want this cover the lo pro version or the Gator SFX tri fold.

      @@scupking , easy peasy. I like it. Very low profile. Rolls up/out easily. 100% satisfied.

      @@OldAndGettingOlder I'm curious...We're the instructions in the package the same as the video? Did you have a spray in bedliner when you did the install? If yes, did you stick the 3M foam directly to the bed? If you didn't put the foam on the bed, do you have any issues with water getting inside the bed? Thanks

      @@toekneetoughnuts428 instructions the same? I don't recall, but I installed by referencing the instructions. I didn't go back to the video. It was an easy install. You need to space the rail 3/8" from the head rail. I did this by using a 3/8" drill bit. Better than a tape measure. I do have a factory sprayed in liner. I just cleaned the required areas with alcohol. Everything is sticking and hold just fine. It has been very hot some days. The install was pretty easy on a hot sunny day. I didn't have to make any adjustments. The cover is taught, easy to operate, clicks closed just right, and looks great.

      @@OldAndGettingOlder Awesome, thanks for that insight. I’m about to install mine. I’ll use you’re trick and try the drill bit to measure. Thanks so much!

    It would be awesome if we could see a video at 80mph to show if it flaps in the wind.

    Are there any clearance issues with the rail clamps and the factory tie downs on the inside of the bed?

    Is anyone else having trouble latching it closed with the tailgate up? It will latch with the tailgate down and the tailgate will shut just fine. However, the issue is that the railing system is a little flexible so when I push down, with the tailgate up, the latch catch pushes down with it, just before the point where it will latch but it catches the tailgate first and I cannot push down any further.

      I'm having this exact same issue. Not sure how to adjust it to latch properly with the tailgate closed.

      I'm having the same issue. Also, the installation instructions in this video are different than those sent out by TruXedo. I think they must have changed the design a little bit because the ends of my rails are different than in this video.

      Can you open and close the tailgate with the cover closed? If not, what covers can?

    • @scottc5171
      @scottc5171 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@scupking Yes, you can open and close the tailgate with the cover latched. You cannot, however, unlatch the cover without opening the tailgate.

      @@scottc5171 They definitely changed the design. Mine came in today and the instructions are different than the video. And the rails are foam against the tailgate, not the rubber shown in the video.
