  • Dive into the dynamic and challenging marine world of the Hauraki Gulf, located right at the doorstep of Auckland, New Zealand's largest city. Due to high fishing pressure, the fish in this area are known to be elusive and wise, but that just makes catching them all the more rewarding.
Although diving in the Hauraki Gulf may require more effort than other locations like the Coromandel and Northland, the rewards are well worth it. Each catch feels like a personal victory, and with more experience in the area, your spearing skills are sure to improve.
In this video, explore multiple dives in the Hauraki Gulf and see what this often overlooked backyard has to offer. Don't be discouraged by the challenges, as even the unexpected spots in and around Auckland can yield great catches. From the north shore beaches to the depths of the golf, you never know where you'll find your next trophy catch.
Thanks for watching, much love - Blue

Hey Vaughn, great to hear from you again. Conditions have been quite nice between cyclones, storms and usual Auckland weather.

Do you think mabey in the last year there are a whole lot more ppl out there diving and making diving videos? I've noticed my dive videos from this summer are getting far less views than last summer's videos. I haven't changed anything, my videos are the same. But looking at yours... your older videos from 1-2 years ago seem to have done better than your recent ones. I wonder if it's the same for you?

Yes, there are more people making videos, it is more competitive.
You may have answered your own question:
"I haven't changed anything, my videos are the same"
Personally I try and not worry about the numbers too much. I believe that if you create content that resonates with people and serves a purpose the rest will fall into place. :)
