for people who might be wondering why they bump into the doors instead of avoiding them, it's because to give off the illusion they are really in the future they have to go through the door without any hesitation at all.
@@Garother eh those doors don't wait until their nose is about to touch before they open..so the actors STILL should have some kind of awareness that the doors haven't moved at all. A more aware person would simply stop as soon as they're face to face with the door. Not bump his eyebrows to the door

They can't literally open it wide enough if they waited right until the person's nose or toes was at the entrance line. So..either way, you're going to SEE the motion of the doors whether they will be opened by the time you get there or not. Then let's also point out the VERY obvious dramatic movements after "running into" the door. Getting caught in the closing of it may happen a few times.
I imagine there is no better humbling moment where you have a big dramatic scene that you NAIL and you walk off feeling like you are the best. Only to slam in the door that didn't open, and then have it slowly open in front of you.

My favourite were the "TOS"'bloopers as they were the first I ever saw at the conventions I used to be able to afford to go to and see. Thank God I finally got to watch the bloopers I've missed all those years-plus more-of You Tube. Having them on the DVD sets for each season would've been nice. Having a blooper (or more) at the end of each episode would've been cool too. Ex. Cpt. Archer's Woody Woodpecker laugh at the end when T'Pol says she still doesn't believe in time travel-and making Jolene laugh. Just an idea.

In the future, everything is split second timing. And Shatner's reactions are damn funny! The man has a brilliant sense of comedy.
