Great job! But I wonder why the block of steel has to be moved to another machine every time. It has to be recalibrated every time it is moved. Wasted time?
what a lot of work! ! ! ! ! what did the master workers who had to make similar parts do before the advent of CNC and other machine tools???? I hope that all this mass of metal shavings have "returned to the motherland"....... the foundry! ! ! moreover the final piece was lightened by how much???
High feed such as this IS faster and cheaper on tools for mold making, and you can accomodate longer tools because cutting forces are mostly axial, not radial.
Material hardness and tool life vs cost per edge. $450 end mill might make it 2 hours where the $18 worth of insert edges will also last at least 2 maybe up to 4 hours in cut. Might be a little different mrr but tooling cost is where it’s made up.

I have designed many aluminium castings, forgings and injection molded parts over the years. Not a single time I saw the tooling to make those parts. If the manufacturer says the part is manufacturable and they are happy with the design, design engineers extremely rarely see the process itself.

That took more than one shift, thanks for sharing such a challenging part. Have a good weekend. Charles
Phew! I can only imagine the amount of hours it would take for me to both program and run that part... 20-30 hours? 😅 Nice work
Parabéns pra quem fez esse programa. Muito legal!!
That’s amazing! When it went back the lathe was that for a heat treat?
yes
Damn that central part got pretty crazy
Very nice and complicated! Lots of tooling and many hours.
Hello. I am a programmer. I'm learning. I love mold parts. Can you share the model? 👋
That's absolutely beautiful.
We think that a block of steel is beautiful. We are such nerds :D
I like your work very much

Very impressive.
What is it? What has so difficult form?

Yes! As it happens in every workshop ;)
Is this something you can just leave to run overnight or do you have to babysit it the whole time?
I prefer to always be around
Impressive

Ďakujem. Zvláštna otázka. No hlavne aby mašina veľmi neplakala 😀.

how long needed for running Program, 60-80hours?
LOOKS GOOD 👍👍👍👍👍👍HOW LONG MACHINE TIME RUN CA ??
A very very long time😀
@@CncFrezar yes 4-5 days i think
Very nice ❤
Whi not use a 5 flute endmill and create a dinamic milling program, it would decrease your machining time by a lot. Still a beautiful work🤩

how do you measure that major i.d. ...huge calipers ??

wowwwwwww ❤
What is this thing ?? It looks part like a press mold and part like some type of heavy-duty automotive part
It's an aluminum mold
@@CncFrezar that's great 👍👍 what it is used for ??? Is it some type of automotive related mold ??
What was the cycle time on this?
Hi. Unfortunately, I can't talk about that
👍👍👍🤘
At least one part on this channel must be for Asml euv, pure mass to resist vibrations, noise
👍👍👍
Kolik se to pokroutilo po hrubování? A pak po tepelném zpracování?
Asi 0.5mm

toolsteel 1.2343 or H11
no carbide drills?
Hss

Sometimes its called WCL :) Not the same as a WC, although some people believe that both have a lot to do with poop.

steel 1.2343 ?? Don't you mean 4140 or 316 or....
I mean steel 1.2343
Equivalent to H11

What puzzles me the most is how the hell designers come up with these weird designs.
