My step-grandpa passed away about 6 months ago and he had a 59 Ranchero stuffed in a corner in a barn for probably 40 years. Really clean car. It has three 2 barrel carbs. I got it running a few weeks ago because it’s going to be auctioned off along with a bunch more cars he had.
Nice ride I have one in the works it was a driver's Ed car fore Bellview school district they bought it new. 352 big block barn find sat in a barn fore 27 years now she is mine no rust no dents. I hope it turns out half as nice as this one I will get it close can hardly wait.
The front end of that car is so evil looking. I love it because it's so different from any other muscle car. That car should be in some kind of horror movie it's so cool.
My favorite is the '58 custom 300 2 door. I had one with a built 390/ beefed up C6. Only 2 bucket seats in it! A friend repainted it a beautiful shade of red,this was about '71 /'72. Love to still have it today! By the way,your car looks & sounds awesome!
@@ronaldnorris2179 Yes the 2 door models look great,I have a relative in TX that has a black 2 door beauty. I just prefer the '58 Ford 2 door Custom 300. No fancy stuff! A good friend owned it before me. He had a 428 CJ w/3 deuces & built C6. 4.57 posi, only the 2 bucket seats for interior. Daily driver/weekend warrior. Unless someone wanted to race on a week night! It ran high 11's in the 1/4,this was in '70/71.
Back in the late 80s a kid in school picked one up and set pit to butcher it by taking the trim off and welding the holes shut and warping the crap out of it in the process. Needless to say , this one's much nicer
That is one bad ass 1959 ford they don't make them like that no more because they don't know how to make them like they used to I was 4 years old when that car was made. Ford stands for First on race day or fast on race day. Nothing can ever beat those old Fords that is one beautiful ride. Don't never let nothing happen to it. It cannot be replaced.

When the 57 Ford came out, i thought it to be the most beautiful car I had ever seen! The 58 was a great follow up
I have nothing against Ford but the 57 Chevy Belair was a much more beautiful car…all time classic.
