Simply beautiful, Denise! 🎹✨ Your piano cover of Greensleeves is like a gentle hug for the soul. The combination of your sensitive playing and the timeless melody brings pure harmony to the heart. 💖 This piece fits perfectly with the festive season and invites you to dream. 🌟 I am impressed by how you interpret the music by ear - that's how I feel music too! If a song doesn't touch me, it shows directly in my facial expressions. But with this video it was the opposite: a smile full of emotion. 😊 Thank you, Denise, for this touching experience! 🍪🎶💫
Christian !! 🍪, Much love and thanks for your beautiful comments!! You made my day !!! I’m pinning your post !! Thank you my friend for being so supportive and being part of my journey!! ❤️🎹🌲🎹❤️🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪
Well done, Denise! You’ve captured all the holiday magic with your rendition of Greensleeves. Your ability to improvise and play by ear is truly impressive. Keep it up!❤
Dear friend ~ Greensleeves~ I had a happy rest listening to my favorite song with a special and fantastic performance. The video and performance are so touching and great. Thank you. 👍🙏🎶🌸❤️
Sounds so lovely Denise. I love the way you play the melody while rolling out the other notes in the scales to the next. It's very relaxing and peaceful to listen to. Lovely video images too, love that tower of treats at the end 🍪🍪🍪🍪mmm I'm hungry now😂. Thanks my friend for sharing, 🙏🎄🎹🎹❤️❤️❤️🤗😉👍👍👍👉✨🌟✨
Beautifully done. Greensleeves/What Child Is This was used as the Toys For Tots theme song for years every Christmas. Another interesting fact is that Mannheim Steamroller started out as a new age synth band in the 70s, their third album, Fresh Aire 3, contained a version of Greensleeves they called Red Wine, then in 1981 they went all in on Christmas music. But this tune is the one Mannheim Steamroller owes a thanks to for getting them started on making their now-iconic Christmas music in 1981 (and another Christmas album in 1984).
Thank you Matt for sharing such a beautiful history!!! You always seem to have a lot of knowledge!! I’ve been enjoying your sharing of other peoples music and have to look at your new video later !! Happy Holidays!! 🌲🎹❤️🌲🎹❤️
@@PianoImprovVlogger Thanks so much, I appreciate you. I hope you enjoy it. I love finding artists (especially small TH-camrs, it feels good when someone with maybe 8 subscribers doubles that after I share one of their songs) and helping share their work with everyone
Considerando l'origine storica del brano, il video che hai scelto si adatta perfettamente. Per l'atmosfera natalizia che la dolcezza del fluire delle note emana, questo tuo lavoro trasmette "calde" emozioni in questo periodo di tempo. Bellissimo!
Hi Luciano , I’m glad my interpretation and video was proper for this iconic song. I’ve always loved it. Thank you so much for your lovely words!! ❤️🎹❤️
Dear Denise, good morning to you and good evening from me. This is very beautiful, so pleasing to the heart 💖. I wish you a lovely day Denise, good night from me ❤️🤗🙏
I call Greensleeves "the icecream van song" because here our icecream vans play this song as they travel through the streets 😄Your improvisation version here has taken this simple tune to the next artistic level Denise, so much sensibility and poetry in your playing that I no longer think about icecreams when I'm listening to it, I think of a pure sonic oasis 🧡👍👍👏👏👏
Wow!! That is so strange!! I remember ice cream trucks as a kid, but haven’t seen one in years where I live in the USA! I am are they are still around though ! Interesting! Thanks for your comments and now I will think of ice cream when I hear it !!! I like that idea because I love ice cream ! Thanks again for stopping by !! ❤️🎹❤️🎹❤️
Good day, dear friend Denise. As always, very beautiful music and such a harmonious video. I wish you a peaceful Advent season...Best wishes from me, Lolo
A really old folk song going back to 16th century England. Your playing is as always a wonderful melodic delight, Denise. I like to watch you play but I also enjoy your beautiful edits and editing is a separate art onto itself. I enjoyed this very much!
Thanks for the kind words about my playing and editing! 🎹❤️ I just started learning how to do videos to my music. I really enjoy it as it is like putting together a jigsaw puzzle! I’m using free art programs which makes it more challenging than some of the more abundant pay programs for videos. You did excellent work taking your own videos. Nice to hear from you Mike !! ❤️🎹❤️💕
@@PianoImprovVlogger It is like a puzzle but more you work on it, more you feel like your first draft was better doesn't it? At least for me it feels like that. 😅 I'd like to do more of that but don't have enough time for everything these days.
Wow that's is so GREAT, fantastic and so, so wonderful. My heartfelt thanks my dear Denise... Hugs and dear evening greetings from Switzerland, your friend Hans-Peter
Your ‘interpretation’ of Greensleeves is both beautiful to listen to with a very intriguing piece of musical history that lies behind it from the fifteen hundreds… some believed it was composed by King Henry the eighth for his lover, yet somehow I’m not too sure 🤔 ! ( he was generally chasing after more wives, so probably got one of his court musicians to compose it ) ☘️🧝🏼♀️ Many thanks for sharing this lovely old music with us Dense 🙏🏼💓♥️💓
@ Forgive me for being such a History Addict ! My head is forever spinning with things remembered from childhood ! My grandad used to sing this and afterwards would tell me the stories about where the songs originated. He probably didn’t realise that I’d remember … Best wishes to you Denise, you’re an Angel 👼 ☘️💓
