Good thing I watched your video, because I did not bother to read the directions on the bottle. I just applied it once a week and the reapplied...applying it everyday is going to be a challenge. Your nails do look healthier with the rocket fuel application. TFS!
I used to suffer with peeling nails, for me I think it was a lack of moisture, even though I was was oiling twice a day, now here comes an unpopular opinion I now oil my nails before each manicure and don’t wipe it off ( not swimming in oil, nicely soaked in ) and paint over it, it has never made my mani bubble or do anything strange but it works for me! 💜
My nails must be really damaged because I’m going into my 4th week and they have not grown at all, but I’m going to keep using it for the full 8-10 weeks that it says it takes. We’ll see
My nails were pretty bad off and I really think this treatment helped my nails. I had vowed to use it for the full duration recommended, and I'm glad I did because it did help. Will it work for everyone? I'm not sure, we all have different reactions to all these nail products out there. I just keep trying stuff till I find one that works for me. I appreciate you watching. Wish you the best of luck on getting your nails healthy. Thanks for watching. TTYL, my friend. ~~~~Tina
I can tell a big difference in your nails with this treatment, unlike the last one. Idk how practical it is, unless you use it as a base coat underneath your manis. Maybe put a latex peel off base on top of it so just your manicure comes off? Love your videos!
I really think this helped my nails stop peeling. Doing this for 4 weeks was quite hard, I missed my color and nail art. I like the idea of the peel off base. I am hoping I got my nails to behave and now they can grow nice. I'm gonna try & keep them a reasonable length. Thanks for watching. TTYL, my friend. ~~~~Tina
Thank you for mentioning the blue tinge. I noticed it at day 5 and was concerned so I googled it and nothing came up. Glad to know it's not just me. I'm using rocket nail fuel to get the strength back in my nails. I had acrylic nails on for 25+ years and my formerly (pre acrylics) strong nails are now like paper. I'm heading in to week 2 so I really hope it's going to work. Thanks for your video!
I hope the Rocket Fuel does good for you. I really do believe it helped my nails. I was tripping on the blue tinge at first, but once I realized it wasn't staining my nails I was ok with it. Thanks for watching. TTYL, my friend. ~~~~Tina
I swear by Anchor & Heart Iron Anchor! Thanks for posting these kind of videos - I still struggle though because I’m anemic and it’s good to see what other products are on the market.
I actually own the Anchor & Heart Iron Anchor. I need to put it into rotation and give it a solid try. I am hoping I got my nails to behave and now they can grow nice. I'm gonna try & keep them a reasonable length. Thanks for watching. TTYL, my friend. ~~~~Tina
Definitely see improvement. I'm struggling with peeling nails myself right now. The weather is part of it. I've been using the full coverage tips, and using the gel glue to adhere them. I get impatient when it's removal day, and here we are.
I hear ya', the removal is frustrating. I start off trying to do it proper and get impatient. I love tips, but that removal, tho.......I am hoping I got my nails to behave and now they can grow nice. I'm gonna try & keep them a reasonable length. Thanks for watching. TTYL, my friend. ~~~~Tina
Oh thank you! It's been a real struggle, for months. They aren't outta the woods yet, but I can see improvement. I'm gonna try & keep them a reasonable length. Thanks for watching. TTYL, my friend. ~~~~Tina
I love this and need to see.I have a lot of problems with peeling and after I just got my hands how I wanted them to they start peeling and I start messing with them so now I am a part of the busted hand squad again starting over with duri rejuvacote I have peeled nearly down half my nail so I'm gonna have a few months to fix this it's gonna take a bit but I love what you're doing here.
Duri Rejuvacote was my first Ride or Die base coat when I got into nails. One day it just stopped working for me. Guess my body chemistry changed. I am hoping I got my nails to behave and now they can grow nice. I'm gonna try & keep them a reasonable length. Thanks for watching. TTYL, my friend. ~~~~Tina
Have you tried anchor and heart mermaid tears. I have used it for a couple years now and it has stopped my splitting and peeling and it does not harden my nails.
I actually own the Anchor & Heart Iron Anchor. I need to put it into rotation and give it a solid try. I will have to order the Mermaid Tears, sound like something that would work for me. I am hoping I got my nails to behave and now they can grow nice. I'm gonna try & keep them a reasonable length. Thanks for watching. TTYL, my friend. ~~~~Tina
I don't favour nail hardeners either Tina, but I'm struggling with peeling and I'm impressed with your before and after, so definitely a product to consider.
Hi, Curly ~ I was so desperate to find something that would work for me. I have gone back to my Nailtiques Formula 2 as my base coat. I will use this again if I start having issues again. So happy you liked it. Thanks for watching. TTYL, my friend. ~~~~Tina
@Moon Baby Nails It's hard to source Nailtiques in the UK now, but it has been my saviour for many years for peeling. I've found some now and also using this as my base coat religiously! Let's hope we see improvements together ❤️
I remember when I first bought Nailtiques, couldn't believe I was spending so much $ on a base coat. But it really does help my nails to not peel. I think my biggest issue is not taking my vitamins like I was. I need to get back on track and take them. Fingers crossed we both find success with our nail health.
The price tag tripped me up for months, then I had several really painful breaks and decided I had enough. I am hoping I got my nails to behave and now they can grow nice. I'm gonna try & keep them a reasonable length. Thanks for watching. TTYL, my friend. ~~~~Tina
I don't baby my nails. I am horrible about not wearing gloves for cleaning and rinsing dishes. I do try and be careful and not bump them and I never use them as tools. I always do nail oil, cream & lotion before bed. I need to do more of that during the day. LOL. Thanks for watching. TTYL, my friend. ~~~~Tina
I see that you have damaged nails at start and is growing out don't buff top of nails as it removes layers of the nails my nails are in rest and repair mode use Ella+mllla first aid rescue a nail strengthener but my nails improved because no buffing top of nails and I wear press on nails and do not buff my nails but glad to see your nails are getting better
Hi, Pauline ~ I agree, buffing nails is pretty bad. I've never done it when prepping nails for any mani or press on nails. My biggest thing is to keep something on my nails at all times. Thanks for watching. TTYL, my friend. ~~~~Tina
I figured it was worth a try and over all I am pleased with it. When my nails go to funky-ville and start peeling and breaking and I'm on the struggle bus to get them to start growing again this will be what I go back to. Thanks for watching. TTYL, my friend. ~~~~Tina

I have done like you and left oil on my nails (not visible, but still there).
Thanks for watching. TTYL, my friend. ~~~~Tina
I think that's my problem. I oil, wear gloves. Dry really good when I do get water and still peel.

Is it hard to remove rocket fuel?
Your nails look great!

@Moon Baby Nails Absolutely 💯 ❤️
Interesting. I considered ordering this a few months ago but was put off by the price. Might buy it because everything else I've tried has failed.

Can u use regular colored nail polish on top of the treatment?
yes you can.
Did you ise their acetone or another brand?
I used the acetone I get from Sally's Beauty. Thanks for watching. TTYL, my friend. ~~~~Tina
Do you baby your nails? They look so healthy. I'm very rough on my nails. Thanks for this review! ❤

I used this consistently for 2 months and it didn’t work for me. I didn’t get any blue tinges either

Some improvement but not much. I expected more.
