@LTSSNIPER4 It sounded like it but he was just under the sound barrier. The laws of physics and aerodynamics (and other Super Hornet pilots) will tell you that somehow the air around parts of the airplane will actually be going faster than Mach 1. You would have heard a very loud and very distinctive bang if the entire airplane broke the barrier. What I heard (and is in the video) is what is referred to as a "mini-boom"
There is a piece of the Hornet that breaks off just after the pilot completes his roll after take off. It is not a small piece and it is not a bird. I wonder if someone in the mobile control or ATC advised the pilot.
Definitely not from the plane, you can see it for a frame or two in front of the plane and then again behind it. Whatever it was either passed by the plane or, more likely, was much higher than the plane.

That's a first for me! I have never seen a Superhornet do a hammer-head turn. That's impressive! [@ 5:41]

to me, i think this is the fastest super hornet demo i have ever seen
Nice salute by the Rhino on that final pass
When they all did their pass after they split, I swear I heard a boom...
Great Video!
That peace of metal called Rhino must be a delight to fly in.....
only if they restored a F-14 xD

DID THE HORNET BREAK THE SPEED OF SOUND IT SOUNDED LIKE IT
It looked like it was there before, like it was another plane or a bird in the background.

Brilliant demonstration! How I long to be an aviator. 😌
If you want to do that Id recommend getting into ultralights, you can fly one of those with just a drivers license
RedJay Pictures yes, and with no kind of flight experience you can also crash one with just a drivers license.
whats the maneuver at 2:37
Flat Pirouette is the maneuver! A little late.
