Been on a few cruises. MSC has the best food, in my opinion. The late night offerings for any cruise line I've traveled on are all minimal; but, again, MSC is the best late night. Worst is Norwegian. 😅
Before I go back to the room for the night, I always bring a plate of fruits and dessert.
One of the great things is chowing down at the midnight buffet after the late stage show or a visit to the casino. But I agree with you that some of the food is great and other barley edible. Gotta be careful what you pick.
This cruise offers pretty good selection for midnight snacks. A lot more than some cheap buffets in Vegas casinos 😂

i had booked a $10,000 cruise with MSC but after watching your beautiful review of this midnight buffet especially the pathetic miserable excuse for a hotdog i have decided with a heavy heart to CANCEL my vacation, MSC CEO you can thank mr DANNY for my decision and his TRUE review without any CORPORATE mumbo jumbo with no SPIN AND NO PR, MR danny thank you very much, i lost my deposit but at least i wont be eating this junk
MSC have many different ships, you need to see the videos of where YOU would be sailing

I'm originally from New York and always have sauerkraut (and mustard) on my hot dogs. I have been on many cruise ships that did not have sauerkraut. Also if you asked to have the hot dog bun heated in the microwave it might have been softer.
there is no saving that bun.. it was literally like a crouton
If you want a quick snack and you’re not too fussy, then yes, I would go, but their offerings are limited at night!

What are you doing on the ship when you are not eating? Do you go off the ship to any of the ports?
besides eating, sleeping and making food vids, I just walk around... I do go off but not too far

thanks for being a long timer.. I dont have a problem eating the cheese, just that I end up farting. My cabin had a crappy window that did not open and there really isnt any fresh air coming in as far as I can tell, and with a cabin that small, one small fart and it would be an all night gas extravaganza.. If I had a balcony room, that woulda been different!

That buffet look similar to my cafeteria food when I was in elementary school. It must be pizza day. DTM is room service extra? I'm guessing it is, because DTM does not pay for extra.

I never understood why some people say things like "6am in the morning"....it's the same as saying '6 in the morning, in the morning'.

sodas are not free, I think it may have to be the extra expense of using carbonated water
Again the Sea Air must be making the Bread Products Hard...The need to do something about that...

I looked at their room service menu and the first thing I saw was that they charge you a fee so I looked no further!

but all I do on a cruise ship is eat and sleep, I dont do any of that other stuff no pool, dont care about shows, aint gonna waste money on their luxury shops, never seen a point to a spa... no gym no nada
