Due to the very high compression, the engine is actually tuned for a minimum of Octane 93 or higher. On other words, anyone using Octane 91, will experience some loss. E85 is much higher Octane than 93. Something to consider, the ECU takes some time to learn and adjust the timing accordingly. It could take a few hard pulls
@@hewantsmoke83One thing, my RCF has violent shifts that snap your head back in SPORT + and Manual at full throttle. My wife always gets caught off guard. My theory it could be due to high stiff my rear end is. It does not absorb the direct engagement without torque converter so the stiff sidewalls of my PS4S Extra load and the OEM dampers and springs don't allow my car to squat under shift, but I am not complaining as I love the shift shock
@@rodrigobless1793 Definitely, safer to have a tune that supports E85. Not sure about running it on stock RCF. RR Racing tune and Tuned by Loi both tunes both support E85.
Hey man just wanted to let you know that Delicious Tuning offers a stage 2 tune for RCFs with headers and an exhaust. When blended with E85 it’s shown that they can dyno at around 475WHP.
Nice to see your constant effort on your car! Like others said, you might want to get a tune before switching to E85 fuel. Good work, love from the other side of pacific ocean:)
Great video as always I adore my rc f it’s my fav car so fun and gorgeous the ultimate underdog I get chills every time I see her till death do us part lol
Top end on those rcf are wild. Shows to go that good tuning can do more than pure horsepower

@@2ZZGE100any supporting mods needed to run E? Or can I run it on a stock RCF

depends on altitude...

@@matiasleegtone I already have a tune. This car has everything but headers as far as bolt on’s go and I have a few minor internal mods as well.
I see "438 WHP" getting you those views! .....Keep at it!

i just got a 2015 rcf and in my research the ethanol is what kills the fuel pumps on top of the motor. just look out for that.
@@gregrayner9965 thanks for letting me know. I’ve had the car tuned for it tho.

I think stock is roughly 390WHP so you gained roughly 40 ish WHP on E85
@@sevenhazee you think it added that much power?
