you are by far the best sagat player, out there. I have a humble request, can you please play in tournaments, and wipe the floor of the competition, I have seen over 90% of Sagat players who suck badly, you would school them on how to play as Sagat.
@DRAGONCLAN1000 I'm fairly impressed at the memorization and exploitation of the A.I., the way he's basically nailing it down to a science. I believe that's the point of the video, not some silly concept of "fighting fair" for some sort of lasting achievement of Street Fighter immortality. If you don't like projectiles, check his E. Honda or Zangief videos.
Hahaha - this bring back memories! Good job, that's not easy no matter how you look at it. The comp was never smart enough to use a jumping jab or weak attack to hit that long fierce; great reflexes on your part!
I am sick of people who comment who CLEARLY don't play Street Fighter and understand it. This is SUPER STREET FIGHTER II and not SUPER STREET FIGHTER II X/TURBO, did you miss the title screen or something of the 1st part of this video. Difficulty never changed damage taking/giving ability, and also I blocked attacks that don't do guard damage, you forget this is Street Fighter II and not Mortal Kombat. Nice try though
depends if you wanna play the computer or w/a buddy. I like the button layout in the six button Genesis (kinda reminds me of the arcade), but the graphics on the SNES are a bit better.
I think I know what you're ta;lomg about: The street fighter 2(s) are: 1) The World Warrior 2) Championship Edition 3) Hyper Fighting 4) The New Challengers (This one) 5) Turbo 6) Hyper Street Fighter 2 There was an original game and 5 remakes all called "Street fighter 2" and something. :)
@Guergy Tiger Uppercut takes 30% of your health. Has two plains to fire projectiles. Tiger Knee can go over projectiles. Powerful, long range attacks. Anti-air and great zoning techniques. List goes on bro.
Hey did you know that on Cammy's stage if you win both rounds with a super combo Cammy will stand back up dizzy afterwards and then you can uppercut her off the bridge similar to Mortal Kombat?
@dunnono00 Its not really about if he was fighting fair more or less people can obviously tell that this is not on the hardest difficulty *But I do now think he could fight pretty good even without the projectiles* Also in the sense that this is a video I posted that comment because uploading these sorta things is mostly meant to show off some sort of achievement. Just saying it is nice to see a fight for once that a person gets perfect without performing the same move It is more impressive.
This is on hard because even on hard the comp does fall into patterns you force it into. Just like mortal kombat, that's why pros don't even bother playing the cpu it offers no real challenge to them. More impressive is the fact that this person can perform all these moves on command on an snes controller
ya i know that...dude seriously i played this game for hours up on hours every day for years. had all the stragedy guides, i talked about street fighter and dreamt about these guys. i think i know everything there is to know. i haven't played for years and am still really good i found out.
Wow...I can't type lol. I'm pretty sure that this is the same game as you have but this is the arcade/PC version which looks and sounds a little diffrent than the snes version.
It's good, really impressive.. But I like player vs player more because now you know what to do, each character has a different gameplan and if you play long enough you figure it out.. But some players play akward styles, then you see who's got skill or not..
here is all of sagats moves. High tiger shot down, down/forward, forward + p Low tiger shot down, down/forward, forward + k Tiger uppercut forward, down, down/forward + p Tiger Knee back, down/back, down, down/forward, forward, up/forward + k
Sagat is rock hard when controlled by the computer, but I always found him slow and clumsy to use myself. Was only really any good at the game if I used Ryu/Ken, Guile (probably the best) or Honda.
No, the best Sagat player is John Choi. He constantly gets in the top 3 in the Evolution fighting game championships for Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo. (The Evolution Tournament is the largest fighting game tournament in America.)
There are some fighters missing... But anyway, he didn't fight Akuma cos this is SUPER STREET FIGHTER, not SUPER STREET FIGHTER TURBO (with the super bar and specials)
wait a second - i got a "street fighter 2 - the new challengers" rom for the snes and it's different from the game shown here. i think there are even more versions.
Those uppercuts are hard as fuck to do when you need them, the computer can always manage it when your right next to them in the air but going right down downright is just so unnatural :s
Unfortunately, that's the only way to truly all-Perfect comp; computer loses to certain patterns so you must repeat those patterns throughout the game to get all-Perfect. For the record, this is surprisingly close to the basic gamebook of competitive Sagat - same things work on the computer, just more methodically and regularly as computer can't learn to counter you.
@DesertUchiha I understand that but its boring watching somebody get perfect if they are not doing it the fair way and actually fighting you said yourself the Ai sucks then he should not have to be spamming just to get perfect it is hard somewhat but it gives you some feeling of achievement not like if you keep distance the whole time and spam.
As with all games released in my teen years this holds nostalgic value for me. Lots of fun and glad to have it in my SNES collection again.

@Kidaly14 Their are plenty now.
Mokoto, Cammy, Chun-Lu, Sakura, Ibuki, C.Viper, Rose and plenty more just for starters.
question how did you get the video footage of an arcade machine without taping it from a camera or is it a rom?
Hahaha - this bring back memories! Good job, that's not easy no matter how you look at it. The comp was never smart enough to use a jumping jab or weak attack to hit that long fierce; great reflexes on your part!

@Cinematico0101 plus the A.I. is stupid not blocking considering the fact this is on easy mode.
Fantastic Job!! Superb all the way through!!
@Kyo221 This is SSF2 no SSf2 Turbo Akuma only appear in that version
Are you pleasantly allowing to upload a speed run of Colt in Super Muscle Bomber, please?
depends if you wanna play the computer or w/a buddy. I like the button layout in the six button Genesis (kinda reminds me of the arcade), but the graphics on the SNES are a bit better.
@Guergy Well in Super Street Fighter 4 he was nerfed quite a bit. But he is still considered High, Top Tier. inb4 Tiersr4queers.
Excellent work!! Why is T- Hawk the only one you Tiger Kneed?
Is it okay if you please upload a perfect run of Gunloc in Ring of Destruction: Slam Masters II?
I think I know what you're ta;lomg about:
The street fighter 2(s) are:
1) The World Warrior
2) Championship Edition
3) Hyper Fighting
4) The New Challengers (This one)
5) Turbo
6) Hyper Street Fighter 2
There was an original game and 5 remakes all called "Street fighter 2" and something. :)
How do u do Tiger Punch and Tiger Uppercut
Nice!! I thought Vega was gonna take it from you. Great Fightin'.
@Guergy Tiger Uppercut takes 30% of your health.
Has two plains to fire projectiles.
Tiger Knee can go over projectiles.
Powerful, long range attacks.
Anti-air and great zoning techniques.
List goes on bro.
You got hit by the cans. LOL Just playing. Great job! =)
@digitalintent
I mean to do them whenever he needs to and with a enormous speed...not even once he missed doing a trick
Hey did you know that on Cammy's stage if you win both rounds with a super combo Cammy will stand back up dizzy afterwards and then you can uppercut her off the bridge similar to Mortal Kombat?
how do u beat claws izuna drop?
either Kawaks or Mame? And great work!
wow, its hard to get a perfect on vega
great vids!

@MalcolmLcz I thought I that was only in the original and turbo but I can see that he isr ridiculously overpowered all around.
What about Vega's losing scream?
Can you do Super Street Fighter II The New Challengers (arcade) with: Cammy, Dee Jay, T. Hawk (With Normal Cloths).
@somegeek11
He doesn't appear until Super Turbo.
Wow, Sagat's stun is really low. 2 tiger shots and he was stunned. o.O
hmmm no arch rival ryu?
This is on hard because even on hard the comp does fall into patterns you force it into. Balrog (M.Bison) Stage is my favorite cause the bgm is epic lol..! Sin City Las Vegas :D
Wow...I can't type lol. I'm pretty sure that this is the same game as you have but this is the arcade/PC version which looks and sounds a little diffrent than the snes version.
The mansion on Cammy's stage is from Resident Evil 1
Sagat looks like Anderson Silva fighting! Cool!
dude the tiger uppercut is a beast
wow nice play!!
Love the Cammy stage music.
It's good, really impressive.. But I like player vs player more because now you know what to do, each character has a different gameplan and if you play long enough you figure it out.. But some players play akward styles, then you see who's got skill or not..
Great fights. Against the other Sagat was the best.
do combos with tiger knee........
here is all of sagats moves.
High tiger shot down, down/forward, forward + p
Low tiger shot down, down/forward, forward + k
Tiger uppercut forward, down, down/forward + p
Tiger Knee back, down/back, down, down/forward, forward, up/forward + k
i refused to believe this is @ its hardest level...the way the computer played, it looks to me more like @ lvl 5-6
I can say that the strongest opponent was guile. He had some nice moments to attack you.
anyways.. 5/5 that was really pro
i love this games STEREO SOUNDsss... super
Sagat is rock hard when controlled by the computer, but I always found him slow and clumsy to use myself. Was only really any good at the game if I used Ryu/Ken, Guile (probably the best) or Honda.
LOL the jumping dude at 2:27
wow... sagat is kicking his own butt
i am sure that you know to play with warriors that use Hoper or something similar. dare to paly with blanca or balroog. regards.
No, the best Sagat player is John Choi. He constantly gets in the top 3 in the Evolution fighting game championships for Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo. (The Evolution Tournament is the largest fighting game tournament in America.)

Akuma was only in Super SF2 "Turbo", this was Super SF2 "regular"
Muito bom,parabens.Nice...
I could possibly, but I haven't worked out who yet
Of all those opponents, the only one that scored a hit on you was the flaming oil drums.
@Kidaly14 Chun-Li*
Why do some people say that Saga is a cheap character?
wait a second - i got a "street fighter 2 - the new challengers" rom for the snes and it's different from the game shown here. i think there are even more versions.
good job, 5/5
@halflife103 and Ken
After he smashed all the barrels, the game still said it was a perfect, so he's fine ;)
NOOO! NOT CAMMY! Favorite Character, well Cammy, Sakura and T-Hawk
Vegas music back then was awesome
I like Sagat's last laugh: BWOHOHOHOHO
2:01 also goes with everything
Those uppercuts are hard as fuck to do when you need them, the computer can always manage it when your right next to them in the air but going right down downright is just so unnatural :s
i watched the whole run just to listen to all the songs
YOU WIN PERFECT!!!!!!
LMAO. Sagat's epic laugh. 3:26
You are good.
my only complaint is that I wanted to listen to the stage music a little longer, lol
Apparently the Psycho Drive is no match for a knee to the face
sagat: cause akuma didnt appear until super street fighter II turbo
How?
you make sagat look invinsible
Sagat flowchart:
Tiger? Tiger!
I lol at Blanka and Honda when they been uppercuted by Sagat.
Am I the only person who sees block hits registering damage against the computer but not the player?
@NOFX1117 nice notice there never saw that
... AH! Damn, I just realised the mistake I've made here. Sorry, my geography skills are lacking somewhat. I see what you mean now.
the only bad thing about Sagat is that hes a little too slow and that makes it even more empressive that yoyu could master the game 5/5:)
this guy sure have problems with the kick, kick, tiger kick combo. But, the kick, kick, tiger upper-cut seems to be perfect all the time.
Yeah, well, I'm not like most people. I'm not sure if that's good or bad, but I think it's true.
Well, I've forgotten what I wrote here in the first place, so I'll take your word for it.
I always thought it was the uppercut, but I guess I could always be wrong
if only we could actually have a camera with you state-saving perfectionists rather than from your monitors.
ok...you are very good! but I think you used hotkeys for the special moves...doing tigers, uppercuts and tiger knees way to easy! Still good though
In Soviet Russia, barrels hit YOU!
(Laughing Hard) You frisky!
nah he let him win, because he thought the scar would look cool.
funny thing is, thats the first (and only) time he got hit!
Vega was hard than a mutha to beat

when he's fighting bison, who the fuck is the guy standing right of the car?
Tiger up your nuts!!! LOL
I know right. It's like dealing with prepubescent kids who've never dealt with women in real life (source - married with experience)
