Hahaha...when i was a little kid playing this on my little old-school console, i allways used to call M Bision "Mr, Train Man" and i never wanted to hurt him XD Good times, good times...
i play this game thousand of times, and i can say that these the patterns and glitches really exist, even in the hardest difficulty. Awsome video, thanks for this. five stars =)
In World Warrior the dragon punch is invincible all the way up (highest priority), but vulnerable on the way down. Watch the Bison round to see the player counter Bison's attacks with a well-timed dragon punch. In SSF2, the dragon punch no longer goes through fireballs and can be hit out of it from certain (higher priority) attacks. In the same game Ryu and Ken's hitboxes differ in size.
That probably is the hardest difficulty. This guy chose the right times to jump in and do combos with broken damage; doesn't mean it's not the hardest difficulty. 7:45 look how fast Sagat tries to regain consciousness.
no way this is on the hardest setting... the energy bar goes down so quick and not one opponent blocked a hit!!!! but still your great on the game i loved this game when i was young.... brings back memories..
Hi, This guy looks really good at what he's doing. I think it's better to train ourselves in easy levels and then try to play in harder one. This guy know the weak points of most of player (See how he play against Honda) and you'll understand that's he's good. Another thing, he almost or never misses a Hadouken or shin shoryuken or any other move. I think he's good. I met in my life people like him. I'm thankful to him, I lernt some weak points of some player and enjoyed watching.
@jamesbassist Yes, I've read that comment as well. Did you notice he also said that at the hardest difficulty, the computer will take energy off the player even if the player is blocking? What's your opinion of that?
@brown6313 Also the order in which people are fought is different. There is typically a set list of how Ryu fights people on hardest difficulty. On the easiest difficulty however the first fight is with Dhalsim just like in this video.
This reminds me of way back when I played this for SNES. I was never that good with the special moves, but one time I got really lucky and kicked M. Bison's ass by accidentally doing dragon punches instead of fire balls, because the moves are so close. It was exactly like this video. I could only do that once though and it was pure luck lol, this video is awesome. Good times
@KeldorDAntrell This is where the details come into play. Super SF II Turbo never appeared on the SNES. You're either talking about Super SF II or SF II: Turbo. Whichever the case, those two games are different from the one being played in this video, which is SF II: The World Warrior for the arcade. You may not know this, but there are several small differences between every SF incarnation and between consoles and arcades. Every move in WW takes more health than later games, for example.
@deanano they did in japanese version basicly. his name was Mike Byson....aka M. byson that you see in our version. vega was the name of the final boss (m, bison), and balrog was the name of the person you know as vega.
Oh man, the memories... I used to go the corner store and hang out at the arcade machine, just to watch people play this game. They'd pick either Blanka or Ryu. I never realized how horrible Ryu/Ken's voice was, lol
@KeldorDAntrell The only way to find out for sure is to try this edition of the game yourself. If you're interested, you can check his Ryu perfect run in Street Fighter II: Hyper Fighting, which the SNES' Turbo is based on. Should be at the top of the suggestions list on the right. I can't tell you for sure he's playing at the hardest difficulty, but I'm not so readily inclined to take people's word of it being at easy either especially when most of them seem unfamiliar with this incarnation.
No for 2 reasons: a) If another person was playing there'd be another score above the other character and his score would go up by another one point every time a new character was selected. b) You cant select Balrog, Vega, Sagat or Bison on world warrior.
very good this is professional video record !!! i miss this game alot nice recording i like when they put the original game sound and with out talking good job !!!!! i wish the other videos be the same with out talking buti guess they don't know how to record like pro !!!!
I am jealous. I've definitely seen the CPU patterns when playing it myself, both for this and more so Street Fighter 2 Turbo so I believe it can be done. But the skill to do without taking damage, even if it was on easy, (which I don't believe..on easy characters just stand there and take blows) is tremendous. A1..you're good man...
@dunnono00, Yes, you're right. I've just checked the cartridge and it's Street Fighter II Turbo. Looking at the video above it looks so similar that I assumed - usually a big mistake! I've only just noticed that is says 'World Warrior' at the start of this vid. Surely the point remains though: this is a lot easier than, for example, Street Fighter II Turbo. Compared to my game, this looks simple, with enormous damage from one's hits & opponents who aren't very smart.
The computer is blocking, it's just getting thrown immediately afterwards. Keep in mind game AI was shitty enough that you can look up the AI exploits and abuse them for perfects.
but he's giving normal damage to the AI instead of reduced damage (outside of throws, which deal almost the same damage regardless of difficulty) that would be expected on the hardest setting. i bet if he traded hits, they would have about even damage as opposed to almost 2 to 1 in the AI's favor. if you look at his Guile video, it takes much longer (more hits) to get the perfects.
@AkiraKurosawa82 Yeah, the arcade game had difficulty settings, but normally a player doesn't have access to it. That's left to the owners or whatever. I am assuming he is playing via an emulator such as MAME, so he could conceivably change the difficulty.
wow after watching this one and the all perfect ken vid, i can really see the strength difference between the 2 lol, ryu is a beast as far as pure power :) Some very good combos dude :)
@dunnono00, Having watched the perfect run you recommended I can see this guy really knows his stuff & the damage done by his hits is much lower than in the above vid - no 4 hit KO's there; but still the AI appears poorer than in the SNES Turbo (although better than in World Warrior). For example, when fighting Ryu on the SNES he typically mixes it up in the 2nd round e.g. throwing slow fireballs. Summary: Maybe this IS on the hardest level because the versions really do differ.
best game EVER. started playing this game when i was 16, i remember the kids used to say that if you did what this uploader has you would get to fight against Fei Long - Ryu's master...what a crack of shit
Ryu and Ken use the same ansatsuken-based fighting style, taught from their master Gouken. They use the same techniques (yet in their respective personal ways), so there is no traditional/american varation of style. In fact Ken was originally a pallette swap of Ryu and thus was identicalt to him gameplay-wise. With every new game Ken has been improved to vary from Ryu, especially in SF4 where he gets many long range/frame-trap/kara-able "normals" and retains his variations of SRK/Tatsu from SF3
@deanano sure as hell was the image character though. balrog in the original japanese version is M. Bison. mike...bison?? vega is balrog, and M.bison is called vega.
@LOCS20 when blanka does his rolling in midair attack and u hit him he takes more damage then normal so theres nothing fishy there. i think it only happens in the original not super street fighter 2 or the other remakes.
@dunnono00, Hi. I played on the SNES, Super Street Fighter II Turbo. I finished the game with each fighter on level 8 (max) so I could play any character pretty well and was a specialist with Ryu and Blanka. Before my system broke I'm pretty sure I got the double perfect on Lvl. 8 with Blanka. I thought I wrote it down but if I did I can't find it! :( I'm certain I got double perfect on all but only a single perfect on Bison. Always been an obsessive type, 'perfectionist' player.
I'm only here for "You win PERFECT"
Aren’t we all?
You win.... PERFECT.
I literally LOLd at the Blanka fight.
LOLd? What a fucking idiot
Slippery Snake You're not very bright, are you?
LoLd.. you are a fucking looser
Says the moron who can't spell.
Don't disrespect our last name with your horrible English.
WOW there was some REALLY good combos on that Blanka fight!
I don't know anyone who can do so many Perfect rows, this Challenger is a Champion 🤘🏼🔥
it looks super easy level eheh
0:12 god damn thats a lot of dmg
I dont remember it being that simple
Hahaha...when i was a little kid playing this on my little old-school console, i allways used to call M Bision "Mr, Train Man" and i never wanted to hurt him XD
Good times, good times...
i play this game thousand of times, and i can say that these the patterns and glitches really exist, even in the hardest difficulty. Awsome video, thanks for this. five stars =)

1:52 I just came for that! 🚗 🔥😠
Hey
Ho
1:46
Don't think you can, Ryu. KNOW YOU CAN!
I am so excited watching this now. Brings back memories of college dorm hanging out.
I love how the strategy for Blanka is the same as the strategy for fighting a little kid.
That probably is the hardest difficulty. This guy chose the right times to jump in and do combos with broken damage; doesn't mean it's not the hardest difficulty. 7:45 look how fast Sagat tries to regain consciousness.
haha just beat bison perfect, cant really ever remember doing that b4 well done thnx for vid
i felt my palms sweating at the 2nd bonus round :)
This guy doesn't play on hard lol
It's the easiest mode. He doesn't fool anyone.
lol
HAHAHA that fucker changed the title.
I was just about to say that
Still an accomplishment
Every time I say, "Perfect" to people, I still do my best to mimic this dude's voice.
no way this is on the hardest setting... the energy bar goes down so quick and not one opponent blocked a hit!!!! but still your great on the game i loved this game when i was young.... brings back memories..
you nail it at the best.i hate people that lie just to have some attencion.

im mostly into music as an adult but damn I loved Ryu in this game when I was younger.
charlie heat with the throwbacks
5:10
Ryu: I tell you, i dont want poundcake blanka.....
@jamesbassist
Yes, I've read that comment as well. Did you notice he also said that at the hardest difficulty, the computer will take energy off the player even if the player is blocking?

I played this in the arcade when it came out, I am that many years old.
The Blanka part was awesome XD
+Urdnot Shepard I might try it someday
This reminds me of way back when I played this for SNES. I was never that good with the special moves, but one time I got really lucky and kicked M. HOw beautiful your playing is. I watch this every day now before I practice.
U alive???????
Back in my childhood days when I was little had that saga Genesis
I love street fighter it's a great game
@KeldorDAntrell

This is sick
its older than me haha
O cara é o mestre do street fighter.
Ryu is the Bomb best Street Fighter ever and doesn't know it after over 30 Years out.

Gread!!! Perfect!!! Bravo bravo!!:o
Nice variation too ☺
wonderfull =D love streetfighter
I am jealous.

this is the original Street Fighter 2
This is not on hardest difficulty, the opponent isn't even blocking
The computer is blocking, it's just getting thrown immediately afterwards. Keep in mind game AI was shitty enough that you can look up the AI exploits and abuse them for perfects.

M. Bison was blockingvRyu several times, ya silly goose!
Well played!
Great video.
Nice~!Speed Finish ~!
excellent video bud
That was quick with ryu
@AkiraKurosawa82

in this day is the birthday of ryu!!
Exploiting AI weakness. Nice work!
ryu has always been my favorite, it took me a while to master the "ohyoucan" uppercut
bro ur amazing....i wish i could play like you.

The path of the Warrior Spirit is Never Over
i miss this game so much
Well Done...Obi-Wan has taught you well...
It's possible to get perfect on everyone. I've done it many many many years ago, wow how time flies.....
Ready setto, GO!
wonderful
wow after watching this one and the all perfect ken vid, i can really see the strength difference between the 2 lol, ryu is a beast as far as pure power :) Some very good combos dude :)
i love ryu!

"PERFECT"
That looks like it's on the top difficulty
and nice fights by the way :)
Forget fists of fury, you have fingers of fury! Nice game play
@brown6313
Well, let's get this started. What system did you play on and what iteration of Street Fighter II did you supposedly beat on hardest?
best game EVER. started playing this game when i was 16, i remember the kids used to say that if you did what this uploader has you would get to fight against Fei Long - Ryu's master...what a crack of shit
man, you're a great fighter! ...and i thought i was the greatest...-.-
Your a comedian on street fighter 👊🏼👊🏼. You won't serve me on that
Ryu and Ken use the same ansatsuken-based fighting style, taught from their master Gouken. nice vid
They sure do. They sound much better on the SNES and the later Arcade versions.
Excelent
wow, great!
@deanano sure as hell was the image character though. balrog in the original japanese version is M. Bison. mike...bison?? vega is balrog, and M.bison is called vega.

this use to be the best man but now its all about street fighter 4
My boy Ryu

The damage is freaking insane.
Perfect
Super! çok iyi be!
this game is GOLD!, it can be beaten on hard PERFECT, i've done it on my megadrive, no cheats or hacks just fuckloads of practice
LE DI TODAS VA CROE ALGUNAS QUEDARON FUERA DEL JUEGO game over , X SIEMPRE RYU : )
good
@reiddy155
The console versions toss you the old "Try a harder level", but arcades themselved don't.
