Hi Mr Africa! Thank you so much for the information you share with us, I'm seeing your videos from Colombia South America! Just a little advice if you let me to, it's not necessary to make that hole in the oil filter and wear shoes when you are going to get on top of your engine , it's very easy to slide and fall from that point, again thank you so much , I respect you and l hope some day buy my own trucks ,
I just followed your video step-by-step and change my oil on my 2019 International 4300. Thank you so much for your video! I missed the part where you say how many miles until the next Oil Change?
It depends on the type of oil you’re using and also the truck. my truck is very good on oil some trucks burn too much oil. my trucks I go every 15,000 miles before oil change if you are new to DIY I will recommend you change your oil every 10,000 miles. also please make sure you check your oil level every day before you start driving. this will help you understand if your truck burn oil or not 🙏🏽
Africa the Engineer. This is what TA and loves charges $300- 400 for and they dont use the same quality of oil like this one, sometimes they dont even use the real oil filters. Keep the good work up. I did the same thing bought 6 gallons for my Hino, only used 5.5 gallon, you need that thing they use to grease all the joints, and 2-3 tubes of grease then you will become a certified technician.lol
Good job but why did you remove the panel with the 13mm if you were doing everything from the bottom? I mean you did the filter from the bottom not the side. Was it just for video so you could see?
you really don't have to remove that panel. some truck that will be the only way to get to the filter by removing the panel. for me I had to just for the camera position
Nice job bro! After have many miles you change filters and oil? And is LF3970 filter number for every cummins 6.7? I have also international 4300, cummins 6.7 engine.
@@Loverofengines101 I’m at loves and won’t make it home to do the oil change so I’m going to just get the oil filters and let them change it since i need one asap. But I need to know if auto zone cares oil filters for the 2015 international 4300
I paid around $160 for oil and filter. dealerships will charge you around $500 to do your oil change and they will give you the low quality oil. I use the full synthetic oil for my oil change
It took me 5hrs at the dealership waiting for an oil change last week, that will never happen again!!, thanks to you my brother. Always a blessing 🙌
My pleasure bro! 👊

Another great and helpful video! Making things look so simple! Thanks for sharing brother!
Africa! Loosen the oil cap while draining the oil, helps get anything stuck being held by a vacuum.
100% Right 🙏🏾

Did you found that out?
NO. Fleet Guard LF16035 is better and also use T6 instead of the other oil. It’s full synthetic and that filter is better

@@fivestar000 in some cases, the LF16035 may not fit so stick with LF3970

How much do you think you have saved doing your own oil change? What was your total expenses doing this job in the video?

Can you add oil without draining your old oil first
Yes if you're low on oil before your next oil change
