For the race tires, there are little holes around the tire to measure the tread remaining. If you don't see any holes around the tire, it's done. But, those tires only work for a couple of "heat cycles" so, they are likely done anyway even if they have tread left.

The race slicks are not “melted”. What you are seeing is tire pickup where the hot slick - ~200F picks up discarded tire from the track, usually found if driving off the racing line during cool down lap. You’ll find that “tire snot” everywhere on the car after a session. It will be stuck to th inside of the wheel, in all the vents, in the bodywork, etc.
Love that you will have both of these cars. They both have their uses as you said in the video. Evo 1 street car for the shows and rocking around the mean streets, then the Evo 2 for all those crazy stunts and track use. Love it. Kinda figured that would be the plan. I think before you start transforming the Super Trofeo, you should at least experience it on a track day just so you can see how different an actual race car is compared to a high end track focused supercar. I know you say your not to bothered about taking it racing, but I can guarantee you will probably enjoy it more than you think, especially with the speeds you could carry around corners in this thing and just the sheer grip alone because, well…Racecar!

I work for a race car team and we basically remove the fuel after car comes back from track to calculate how much fuel the car is using per lap. Which will help us determine almost exactly how much fuel we need for qualifying and how long we can stretch the pit stop.
Something about the hexagon white lights hanging in the garage and reflection on it all through the build, really seemed like it suited for a start pattern. Can't wait to see what you guys have come up with tho, tribute and all it will no doubt be incredible.
Tires have dot number examples 2422 that means it was made the 22 week of 2022... that's how you check tires... also some slicks have little holes to shoe the depth left of the slick...

Indycars know exactly how much fuel was used during any session. The only time they empty the fuel cell is to service the fuel pump which is driven by the engine via "dogbone"
Slicks usually have a marker on them that let's you know when they are done. And that rubber built up on then comes off heat them up with a hear gun and scrape them. They'll clean up

On slicks there are dots on the surface, normally four in a row. Those are the indicators of usage. The filth on the tires is pickup from tire “snot”.
