S1mple is a bit rough rn with his playing, but if he gets used to playing CS again, I think he would be very important in the competitive scene

nah, he's just a 'good' (not excellent) player with a massive ego now.
Its simple (lol), with simple in their team, they needed to play around him because he is the star player, taking room away from the other 4 and they couldnt play as comfortable. Without him they play as a team and not a 4 man support group

Yep! S1mple needs that Faker style transition. Faker was the star carry of the team and switched to a supporting igl role when other younger midlaners caught up and that's how he dominated the #1 esport in the world for a whole decade. And I think s1mple can do the same with his experience.

Honestly I don’t want him to come back and play for Navi. I love the vibe of this team as is! I think despite his incredible talent and obvious impact on the scene he would ruin Navi if he came back

I dont know why no one is talking about how good the Navi coach B1ad3 is. Every player who had work with him gained so much, and he probably can make every roster work. Seriously, just look how consistant navi is since he has joined the team even with various diffrient roster changes.
Nobody needs s1mple with the headspace he's currently in - namely that he has achieved everything there was to achieve in CS:GO and simply does not enjoy CS2. Additionally, he's not a super-young talent anymore, he's a bit of a veteran of the scene at this point and there has been talent like monesy or donk - or hell, even wonderful, who replaced s1mple on NaVi - upcoming, which has people a lot more excited rn. The game has just moved on and that's alright. s1mple will forever be a legend and I'd love to see him as an analyst or in some other role involved in the community, but I don't need him back in the server if he clearly doesn't enjoy being there.

@@vadnegru Kenny After awp nerf played the same, most of his crazy highlights came after the nerf. It was more of a mentality change instead of actual gameplay, same as s1mple is currently.

A: the historic data proves that CS majors have been won by various different teams most of the time, with little consistency except for Astralis. CS2 being a new game in a way allows for some unexpected results in terms of uncertainty. B: S1mple decided to leave CS2 and that's the end of it. No need to drag him into ''what if's'' .

I believe the biggest "problem" for s1mple is that old NaVi (s1mple, electronic, Boomb14, Perfecto and B1t) were really close, they were friend, s1mple can easily buy a new iPhone for Perfecto, for example, go to pub, etc. International roster is not for him, s1mple will never send Aleksi a message like "Hey bro let's go out", etc. We've seen that after the win, how s1mple congratulated B1t, hugging, holding, they are true friend, soulmates I would say even. The best team for s1mple would be Cloud9, but it will never happen due to war.
People tend to play more as a team when they don't have toxic people in it..crazy concept, i know 😂

No. He is good and everything will be fine he carries tons of professional experience in cs which some hotshots may miss. Simple is showing some decent stats in fpl and supporting his form. I believe that he'll take a fine place in tier-1 teams. I mean he literally has not played cs2 for several months before and people expect him to be at his peak. No, it does not work like that.

It is very common that a superstar player creates pressure to other teammates. We don't know if this was the case with S1mple's NAVI, but it would explain why jL and iM ratings increased. In competitive sport this is not the first time that after a superstar leaves the roster, the team starts performing better. It also happened in football. For example when Christiano Ronaldo left ManU, the team started playing better as a team. Anyways, the current NAVI roster was still brand new. We never know for sure how things would have ended up in major with S1mple playing instead of w0nderful.

Does Navi NEED s1mple? No. He is the goat of CS:GO, not CS2. I doubt he will obtain top 10 ever again. The only way s1mple remains in Navi is if iM underperforms and gets replaced by s1mple as a rifler, which would be a mistake because the main reason why Navi won this Major is that they had no egotistical players. Adding s1mple to the mix would poison the whole roster. Imagine if iM made a mistake due to nerves with s1mple playing? The poor guy would get decimated (he did the same to sdy). Nothing will change unless he gets his temper under control. Yes, the transition from CS:GO to CS2 wasn't easy, but if tier 2 and tier 3 players can do it, why can't s1mple? He can't keep making excuses forever. He needs a new home, but with how he currently is, he was lucky to even land a temp spot on Falcons.

I dont think we need simple at all. We have so many other young talent thats actually interesting and great, and his headspace and his attitude is not an addition we need to CS, especially right now. I think this is the end of S1mple on comp CS.

While riding the topic of S1mples cs program, maybe the answer is creating a new team with promising new talents like Ence did with the full finnish team with allu, Aleksib etc. Talking purely business S1mple is just too expensive of a player to be bought by any team. Even the loan to Falcons for just a month cost a lot. I don't think retiring is an option either, because he knows it would disappoint many fans of him. The only real option is something out of the box.

They literally didn't even make it to another grand finale after s1mple left, Copenhagen doesn't count because they had been together for like 10 months already whereas they literally just got together for pro league AND got into the grand final WITH s1mple. I hope I live in the timeline where s1mple wins a cs2 major. Of course if he doesn't like the game then he's not gonna play it, and that's completely fair. But god damn man a deep cs2 major run with s1mple on a roster would be incredible. (I know this is just wishful thinking but there is a world where s1mple beats NaVi in the finals of a cs2 major)
He simply has lost his drive to compete, especially in cs2. Perhaps we will see him as an stand in at some events or even fully transition to a different game, Navi Valorant roster needs some help at this point.

No, he’s washed in CS2 because it messed with his head and NAVI moved on and already has a chip without him.
Csgo and cs2 is dfferent, almost everyone acknowledges that the awp is nerfed is cs2. S1mple was the best awper/pro player in csgo. Due to changing times today, teams are no longer heavily dependent on awpers. Smokes and mollys are wider, flicks are nerfed, and movement animation or peeker's advantage is so fast. In today's game teams are better to have excellent team work and coordination than to rely on a single person. Csgo was an aim precision beast of a game while cs2 favors more on teamwork. That's why you don't need someone like s1mple ONLY but also the whole team synergy.
Don't miss the whole point of this comment. I still regard s1mple and m0nesy as the 2 of the very best awpers rn. But to win a tournament, you only wanna need a decent awper and a really great team synergy. Take nicodoz for example or story or boom1... (from cloud 9), their teams managed to reach playoffs in certain cs2 tournaments.
At this time S1mple is not needed in any team. He has not shown even a glimpse of what his aim was for a long time now, on top of that always blaming others while you do equal mistakes if not more is not helpful either.
I'd love to see him back in the game but if is he going to bring the same energy back I don't think people are rooting for it anymore because for now he does not even have the aim to back it up.
Navi doesnt need S1mple. Most Teams are better when the chemistry is Top Notch. S1mple has a history of not being so friendly with Teammates etc. I would even say that this current navi is better off without him. He may be the best Solo Player , but not the best Teamplayer. At the end its 5v5 and not 1+4v5

It's weird though because cs2 disabled the anticheat 6 months ago and hasn't turned it back on yet, even previously detected cheats randomly started working again. Cheat issue aside the game feels laggy AF.

If he really wanted to get back into pro cs he the most obvious pick would be Cloud9 who are looking for an awper as their awper-less teams just isnt good enough to take hom trophies, dont think it will happen but you never know
I'm pretty sure s1mple has stated that he doesn't want to play with a Russian-majority team as long as the war is going on. You don't have to agree with his stance, but you won't be able to force him to do it, either.

@@Daniel-sq7gkthat was prior to the war and continued for a little bit. Navi is a Ukrainian org and pretty much the only big esport org in Ukraine. If they were to keep the majority Russian roster (unless electronic, BoomI4, and perfecto were to abandon their Russian citizenship) would be canceled by the Ukrainian public and government as well. There is also a law that prohibits Ukrainian athletes to perform in tournaments where there are Russian players or something of that sort.

Biggest problem in cs2 scene and what older players don’t understand is that the game changed .. one can’t hold an angle as before the peek advantage although less is still there.. older players that shout all the time in-game don’t pick do not understand that picking now is an advantage and it is why most games t side is stronger and why one has the sensation the others are cheating .. although the cheating is a problem
Nevertheless players that used to hold angles in cs2 are much worse then in csgo players like S1mple,Niko,Zywoo all performing much worse

I feel like eventually he's going to replace iM on a riffle if they're not gonna perform well, but even then that can happen not until the off-season. Personally, i wouldn't mind to see simple in some other international top team on the AWP, in such a way wonderful stays in Navi and simple returns to his primary weapon
Yes navi is perfect as it is rn but literally everything simples said is true and makes total sense. This new game is absolute trash of a game and had no soul of csgo. It has trash movement and spray along with cartoonish look and jittery mechanics. Its more noob friendly and feels like a task to play unlike perfected goated csGO. So it makes total sense as to why simple struggles with cs2….the answer is because well hes soo good at go and hes perfected mechanics of go so obv shit mechanics of cs2 will be very hard for him to accept mentally and physically. This update for simple is similar to awp nerf for kennys. That doesnt make anyone else a better awper than kennys, its just the game turned a bit trash.
