- In eighteen years of playing Counter-Strike at the highest level, karrigaN had seen a lot of things.
But he’d never seen anyone quite like donk.
From the outside looking in, it looked like maybe, FaZe had peaked - or maybe that donk and Spirit really were unstoppable in CS2
But karrigaN’s master plan to defeat the young superstar at the Copenhagen Major was simple: make Spirit take the bait, and just outplay them.

As much as I am a NaVi fan, that Faze Vs Spirit Quarter Final is one of the best matches I've seen in a LONG time, and in all honesty should've been the real final of the Major.

@@itzmrbeau6386 when you are sick it absolutely does change things. being sick can make you feel tired, physically and mentally, and can really make it hard to flip the switch when you get off to a rough start because you just feel like wanting to lay down lol

This is like an essay where you make a statement and then most of the essay is proving it with arguments. He stated what the plan was briefly and then showed how well it worked as an argument. That's how I see it.

idk if it was kariggan's genuis plan as this match was so close and that spirit are a new team with nerves one more clutch and they woulda lost it couldn't have been some plan to win them it. And what plan this whole video just explained the series what plan? Choosing vertigo ? They know he has less impact on vertigo due to past matches so was his grand plan choosing vertigo? I do think they had some setups or certain nades to stop rushes or try and isolate but this video showed very little to nothing on how they stopped D0nk but rather just a play by play of the match.

Faze kicked twistzz to upgrade to frozen. I know everyone wants to paint it as twistzz leaving on his own, but the timeline says otherwise. Karrigan and Frozen confirmed Faze was in talks with frozen before talking with twistzz about his contract.

It was a stretch to say that this was all part of Karrigan's plan. Last 2 maps were OT and the game was so close even the winning round was an insane clutch. Both teams played very well and Faze won that's it. I love Karrigan and I know he's great but let's not make it sound like everything was planned.I love this channel because they tell things as they are but not this time 😒

I'm of course talking about sporta where you're directly competing against somebody else, i.e. 1v1, 5v5, 11v11, that kinda thing. I don't have any experience with stuff like javelin throw, where it's different because you are essentially competing against yourself, and indirectly competing against others

Nobody ever destroyed donk. It was donks teammates that let him down. Donk was the best player in the server during that match despite losing.
Well the game is 5v5 and team effort is always gonna be stronger than individuals

And despite being on the losing side, Donk still played out of his mind. You want to see real destruction, watch Sprit vs Faze in Kato final.

Sure individually hes super talented, but if the the team is absent from tier1 tournaments for 2 months it counts for nothing
Betboom tier3 crap can be discounters as a warm up, he has to show up big in Dallas
Don't get me wrong, the kid is a fckin machine but if it's not proven on tue big stage he's just another fpl talent and that's about it.
It tier1 winning Katowice is awesome but not enough to be considered a to tier
Brother he proved himself on two arguably biggest stages (major and katowice) - EPL is tiny compared to this + they'll be in every event after this.
Also half of the teams participating in betboom are top 10 t1 teams
his team mates also gave him an impressive amount of space to help him perform.
