As a drummer myself, I love seeing how his technique has matured along with the band. Playing a softer tone but still maintaining a strong tempo.
Playing a softer tone??
Dynamics 🙏 he’s killin it
As a drummer, the first notice you should have is the lack of wrist movement, those ligaments are not enjoying this at all!
This account should just be called “cayemdrumcams” at this point lol
Now I got the idea of the drum fills.. Thanks cayeminterviews!
Dude absolutely thrashs that ride cymbal. I like it
1:56 that fill is so sickkkk
That’s what makes his playing so unique. Simple but with nice details.
mantab kle bah❤️🔥
Ryan Torf kicks ass!!!!
tight as fook❤️🔥
ryan has always been the most handsome dude
We wanna see some Connor Denis cams plz 😁😁 Beartooth is on tour 😭😭
he plays it so softly but still so hard
Solo Sessions that’s what she said
@@henryc6271 who???
@@henryc6271 lmao
@@henryc6271 😂
Gila sih power beliau
Christ, he fucking smashing those crashes like he’s pissed at someone hahah. The flow of this song on drums is phenomenal though.
let's goooo ryaaannn
Is this the same performance from the official music video for the song?
No, it was a concert from Anaheim
i need that snare in my life
Love this band, love this song, love this drummer, hate that possible crash/ride sound
Sabien man..
Kinda sounds like it would wash into the mix really well for a live venue. It's super dry but I imagine if you were at the venue it's probably really good for not overpowering the guitars.
@@kickenwing30 i feel like I'd need to hear it in person to give a real judgment on it. I know mics can sometimes make certain cymbals sound like shit. And thats probably whats happening here
I clicked this so fast 👏🏼
YESSSS
QUESTION:
What mic do you use when you are recording these live sets that sounds so crispy? Thanks and keep up the amazing content! 👍🏼
Solid!!!
more please
from this show i mean
he doesnt wanna disturb the hihat
Love it,very tight drumming.
Anyone know what ride he's playing?
Also keen to know....
Sabian 20” HHX complex medium ride
Not sure thats right judging by the logo's.
It would have to be AA or AAX (which it doesnt sound like) or some sort of prototype/custom shop model.
Finally an upload from you. 🥳🥰
Best drummer for me . Make more music TSSF BEST POPUNK BAND OF ALL TIME
I need to get better at drums
at some point i really feel uncomfortable just imagining playing how Ryan's drum was set, i feel like my fingers would hit that snare and break them lol, no hate though.
Same here
same. his set up is so inefficient it low key makes it uncomfortable to watch. But he’s used to playing like that, it works for him and he still kills it on the drums. So that’s just his style, it’s a little weird, but i still hella respect him, his skill, and his originality.
@@henryc6271 agreed
FINALLY
what camera do you use?and does ur camera connected to drum mics?
Whats the tape on his drum skins for?
Thomas Pflanzer to control overtones my dude.
@@tanman1061 can you elaborate a bit??
@@nardtardzTV It dims the buzz, and makes them ring for a way shorter amount of time. it basically does the same thing rings do
to muffle it a bit, the more stickies the less resonance.
What camera do you use to get this video?
Those cymbals sure do take a beating.
Thats then point of them no :p
his technique isn’t ideal at all but the drum parts he writes fit perfectly. great songwriter.
I had no idea Benedict Cumberbatch played the drums 😎
It makes me incredibly uncomfortable to see someone sit that close to his snare. I mean the dudes head is almost above the snare..
the mix on this is meh
