I mean... his creativity is cool, his timing is great, and his ride work in Things I Can't Change was phenomenal, but his technique is horrendously bad and he (like many others in this scene) plays the lazy-ass version of the punk beat, probably due to said shitty technique physically stopping him from playing fast enough, lol. The Wonder Years, Knuckle Puck, and hell even Stand Atlantic all have better drummers from a technical standpoint (Kennedy from TWY also destroys Torf from a creative standpoint as well). What's way more interesting about this band to me is their guitarists' abilities to perfectly accentuate what Torf is playing with these heavy palm muting stabs and lead lines... This sounds more negative than I meant it to be, lol, I do like his drumming, but he is certainly not the best in the scene.

TheWardenDuncan actually his laziness when playing the punk beat is new. If you look at any older live footage with him included, he always used to play 16th notes on the hat or ride. Guess it’s a new technique for him.

What venue is this?
This is some of the worst technique i've ever seen for a drummer that sounds this good. Look at his hands at 25:30! His veins are gonna bust out of his arms from using his ENTIRE arm to play the fill instead of his wrists haha. But then at other times theres crazy wrist control like at 14:35. This is crazy. It looks REALLY painful to play like this, i'm wondering if it was a one off for him? Either way it sounds tight haha.
From other videos I've seen, I think this is just how he drums :')

I saw this band last summer. I didn't know them, but my girlfriend sure as hell did! so I was going with her.
I have been to many many many concerts, but.. this concert, had a weird vibe. Nono, the band had a weird vibe. The singer just stood there. No problem, but the bassist found my phone annoying? like, bih, we pay you to see you live, so let me film if I want to!!
GalaxygamesNL they want you to enjoy the show and not have your phones out. Like everyone should . They always pay attention to the crowds cuz their music goes hard and some crowds be dead asf or rude asf and their energy sometimes may depend on the type of crowd . They lowkey chill people, they just don’t fuck with people like that . They like it when people go crazy for them at shows though , it really gets Parker going and I Mean Kelen and William be killing those riffs at shows . Also Parker use to move around a lot and sing his ass off but since he’s been sober he’s been more laid back and he wants his vocal chords to sound good when he’s sing. But he is starting to move around like he use to . But the thing about tssf, their music is so good and catchy and so hard that you can still have a great time during their set even if they lack stage presence.
