The crowd singing along in the background + the sound of the drums isolated to on the first minute are pure melody to my ears. God, this band is so good and John Siorek is such a beast.
The way that he is so simplistic and solid and yet so in the pocket and thoughtful with his parts will never cease to amaze me. A true shining example of how “less is more” doesn’t necessarily need to make you feel or play limitedly.
He’s got a good feel to him, definitely serving the music properly, I just can’t watch left handed drummers without being uncomfortable, not like they’re bad it’s just so odd to watch. Thanks for another great video Tim!
Ah man what a roller-coaster of a performance, first half I thought he seemed stiff and awkward, then he brings in the ghost notes and a couple of tasty fills and suddenly it shows his composure, control, and he brings it home with a little showmanship. Great playing!
As a fellow lefty and fan of their music I really enjoyed this performance. But he does look a bit stiff and the timing seems a bit sloppy at times. Of course, it is still cool drumming and very musical. Thank you so much for uploading all those videos!!
please don't forget to like the video and subscribe! every little bit helps!
@Carmelo Levi yup, been watching on InstaFlixxer for since november myself :D

Best drummer of the genre in a very very long time. Absolute fucking legend
2:30 until 2:50
And no single ghost note was missed that day.
Honestly his cymbals/sound kinda remind me of a worship drummer setup
Clayton Rath Underoath influence
