    You should make this a series!!! I agree on the burrow and Maxey play!!! I’d love to see this be a quarterly series!

      That's a great idea! Just need to make the time. But I think quarterly is perfect

    Def agree on burrow. Even if something bad happens and he tanks again you won’t lose everything you’ll just lose a little bit. No matter what happens with him that fan base is loyal and people will believe in him. He’s an amazing investment rn

      Couldn’t agree more!! What do you think of Maxey’s market? I’m shocked his base prizm is only pop 300

      @@DanielsonSportsCards I don’t do basketball very much, only if someone offers me under 70%. I’m in Kentucky so the maxey market is big here but I honestly have no clue on it

    What sport is better to invest in baseball,basketball or football and is it better to get for now modern compared to vintage

    • @DanielsonSportsCards
      @DanielsonSportsCards  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I haven’t done enough to be able to compare. I have never touched baseball I’ve only done modern basketball and football. I can tell you this - football is easier to make money on than basketball. Basketball is really tricky. Football has a lot more predictable patterns.
      As for vintage vs modern I would think of it like this, vintage is a safe bet, will grow in value slowly over time. Modern has a higher ceiling but a lower floor. You can crash and burn on modern but you can also 10x your money. Vintage you won’t crash and burn but it will take a while to see returns. Now note this is coming from someone who hasn’t done vintage myself, I would chat with someone who does vintage

      Baseball careers typically last the longest but I think basketball is easiest to tell who stands above the rest early on to pick rookie cards before they pop off. NBA cards easiest & Baseball cards best for longevity, NFL is luck & gambling habits

    How do you see what the charts are

    • @DanielsonSportsCards
      @DanielsonSportsCards  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Great question! I am pulling these from Market movers. It's a paid subscriptuon service that stores ebay seller data over time. On ebay you can only see 3 months history and then it's gone, but with an app like mm you can see larger patterns

    Good stuff those charts are a year long tho, so I spend 500 bucks and hold them for a year for the price to rise? Or try selling them overpriced to a person who doesnt know how to buy cards properly

    • @DanielsonSportsCards
      @DanielsonSportsCards  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey! Yeah I mean honestly I’d probably do it a bit differently since I made this video, but generally yeah timing the market. It’s really hard to sell cards above market price. But cards change over time, no one can exactly predict the future but yeah market price changes over time.

    What would you start over with $100

    • @DanielsonSportsCards
      @DanielsonSportsCards  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Value boxes. Trying to just hunt through boxes and find undervalued singles. Buy in bulk from a shop or person. Only relevant, liquid cards. Finding $3 cards in the $1 box or $8 cards in the $5 box. It's a grind. But if you offer a shop a bundle deal on 30 cards or something they might knock 20% off. Then take those, and sell them individually. Or you can try and trade them with people and trade up.

    What does pop mean ? Sorry new here to the card game

    • @DanielsonSportsCards
      @DanielsonSportsCards  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Great question! Pop is just short for population. If you scan the barcode on the back of a PSA slab it will pull up a pop report that tells you how many of that card have been graded in that grade. You'll see sometimes the term 'low pop' which means it has a low population - in other words there are not that many of them. For example a 2018 Luka prizm PSA 10 has a pop count of over 20,000. But a 2018 Shai Gilgeous Alexander prizm has a pop count of 4,200.
