- Yo I got asked if I could make a video on this so here you go... If you need to turn off the vibration of your GO Plus + you saidly have to cut some wires here... there is no issue with that though! It's fairly easy... you could also dim the lights if you want to but thats that.
You can break it - its at your own risk!
If you enjoyed the video it always helps out way more than you expect if you leave a like and comment. This help the video getting recommended to others. I would appreciate it❤️

This is insane, how the hell didn’t they include a setting to stop vibration?!?!? This thing is so poorly thought out
The best thing is, in the german version of the Manuel is a way descript for turning vibratio and lights of by holding buttons. (Not working)
dont worry the pokemon plus + plus + will have this feature for only 150 dolars
@@jezusmylordPokémon Go Plus + +*
if everyone submits a bug report on the app and inform that we want vibration option available, they will know we want that feature. I just did my part and sent it.
This was already tried with the original go plus everyone did everything they could to share this complaint. Not a word was said and clearly they don't care because they did it again With this one
@@blo0dysmiles297 Worst part is that it is a toggle-able feature on Pokemon Sleep... so it's Niantic just copy pasting code, as it is literally just possible.
8 months later still no setting
Great video! Thank you!! The vibration has been driving me insane.
A little tip: If you don't want to risk cutting the wire, you can also block the little spinning thing (which causes the vibration) with tape or something. Then if you ever want the vibration back, you just remove it again. That way you don't risk potential destruction.
Sorry, I'm kinda new to opening stuff and messing in there. Just block the little shiny thing poking at the other way from the cable? Wont it make it break internally (as it tries to move or something?)
@@pedroradical3 Yes, indeed that shiny thing that spins quickly as the Go Plus catches pokémon and spins pokéstops (he points at it at 2:59). I tried blocking it for a while and it didn't seem to damage anything. But in the long run, I'm not sure. So still do it at your own risk i would say.
You are a hero, this works flawlessly and stops any vibration sound. This should be at the very top!
Tiny bit of tape around the metal bit and its fully quite.
Lol everyone is turning off vibration. I think it's cool. but i wish it was in 'Settings'
Same... its sad that its final but I never liked it before... its just too awkward in public
A simple Switch would be enough, like all china autocatchers für 10$ still have.
I have a 10$ device with a battery which works 4weeks+ without charging, switch on/off vibration and autocatch. Wait for a ++ china one, not because it’s cheaper, because it’s cheaper and better.
And why is this device so big? A small one could be a keychain…
Anyway.
Nice vid like always😉
@@Hubert-rh4hzwhich one do you have? I would buy it
Defeats the purpose of the device. If you are truly not looking at your phone and have the ball in your pocket you will never know when to throw balls if you want to auto catch with Greta or ultra balls.
@@Hubert-rh4hzwhich one do you have bro
this worked! thank you
Hello, what kind of screws are the two on the bottom of the Go Plus+, sideways of the powerplug? I want to replace them, both are damaged.
was planning on doing exactly this thing when i heard you couldnt turn off vibration, unless i want it on. i usually have spinning on only while i animation skip catch myself. or the other way around sometimes when i want specific tasks and / or doing grunts for 12 km eggs.
I did it, it worked for me, cutting the same wire !!! Thanks
Can you still able to put it on sleep mode? I just cut mine but when i tried to put it on sleep mode there is no blue light
yes sleep works fine and doesnt get effected if you just cut the wire you are supposed to cut... but of course you can damage things when you disassemble the GO Plus +
Thanks for the help
Best Vid ever
Can you make the film on THE white background? Watching on mobile is hardly to see the details - everything is mixed with colorful table. And please, put the the staff on the table, not to wave it in the air!
Thank you!
What colour wire did you cut, in the video you said one off the wire but not sure which one.
It doesn't matter... either is fine but I also show in the vid that I cut the red one... but it doesn't matter you could also cut both I think
You are not defusing a bomb XD
A hammer is also a great way to stop vibrations :)
yes i have the thought of that.
stops the autocatch, sleep and spin functions too 🤣
Thank you !!
Thanks for the teaching😊
Removed the vibration counter weight worked like a charm! Any resources on how to rewire the button with the vibration wire to trigger the manual catch?
Genius. Screenshotting this so I don’t forget .
@@taylor92493..
Added a 10 ohm resistor to make it more subtle.
smart..
super top video! Funktioniert einwand frei, einfach afpassen das ihr nur das rote kabell durchschneidet
option 2 is remove the weight, it just slides off the spindle, saves cutting any wires
How you do that
@@OlliePattz slip a butter knife or craft knife under and lever it up
This is not as easy as I was led to believe. The weight was crimped on really tightly on mine and wouldn't come off even when using pliers. Ended up snapping off the spindle of the motor. I think the safest option is to cut red wire. Then you can re-solder if you ever want to enable vibration again
Thanks
Brilliant video! Got this for Christmas as an avid pokemon fan who is new to pokemon go. Was very excited until I discovered you can not silence the device. It would be rendered completely useless in public if not for your help. Simple, quick yet informative video- I can not thank you enough.
Thank you so much, no more vibration now feel good to keep it in bag 😂
You’re welcome 😊
Vibrations is fine, but this is just to dang much. It vibrates 5 times when it finds a pokemon, 3 times when a ball is thrown and then 60 more times when you catch it and vibration is so strong.
They should have tones it down allot.
I'm def doing this.
I will recommend that you open a bit more up so you can isolate the wires with electrical tape just to be sure. I think I will open it up completely and then solder the wires off i stead of cutting and then isolating them. Makes for a cleaner job. But yea that vibration got to go
How did it work out?
@@Juniors713 worked out greate. I unscrew everything and held the wire with tweesers and unsoldered the red wire using a quite hot soldering Iron. I think I used 350ºC. So not super hot to avoid screwing up the board, but hot enough to melt the solder quickly so I did not have to keep heat on it over a long time. Just pulled wire away with the tweesers and then isolated it with some pvc tape and screwd everything back together. SUPER EASY fix.
Does this make the battery last longer
what do you think?
Jonkus handcam vid??? 👀
Is it possible that in future any update to the game could disable vibration in this device? Is it possible that way...even though niantic might never do it, is it theoretically possible? Or defusing the bomb is the only way?
There's a chance. If the hardware is not already in the device itself, then it is likely programmed to be a response to some input on the phone (same with the lights too). I don't have one of these to investigate, but since so many people are just cutting the wires, my guess would be no.
@jakekallman7164 i think the hardware is in the device itself. In the German version of the manual is a "silent mode" described, which turns of the light an vibration bye pressing the buttons on the plus.
@@xanderrayman1123can you do that with a American one?
Good video instruction. I got one and the vibrate drove me crazy. Almost 1 yr into its release and I doubt they will have a patch for this any time soon. They gave a patch for pikachu's voice but not the vibrate. :/- Open it up, Clip the red wire and that's all you do. Screw it back together done. In less than 10 min. I can now use it wat work no problem without anyone noticing it. Now I have an official auto catcher. Not a third party gotcha.
So annoying this vibration. I don't understand why they add this without option to turn it off. It also drains extra battery power.
Hätten sie mal den Magneten so stark gemacht, wie das Klebepad 😂
Jonkus where's your Discord channel man 😄
People need your couching
I love how you said there's no setting to turn off the vibration so let's fix that
And then you fix it by breaking the device😂😂
it's so crazy how they don't just have a setting to turn vibration off. what in the heck. LOL
That fusion strike mew playmat looks super sick. Do you play tcg too?
You win them at tournaments for go :D have like 4 different ones but using this for my desk for longer so its a bit used :D
Will this not affect anything down the line?
Maybe more batterie power but nothing negative... of course you would need to change the cable if you ever want vibration back
@@JonkusPKMN Thank you for your reponse. Maybe it's a dumb question but will there be no short circuit because there is still going electricity going through the cable you snipped?
@@akaramon7438 isolating it wont hurt
@@akaramon7438 If you want to do a cleaner job yourself you can unscrew the vibration motor, tie the two wires that are connected to it to each other, and then wrap them in electric tape. Optionally you can even take out the vibration motor alltogether.
Update:
Removed the vibration motor completely and isolated both wires individually.
Works like a charm. Thank you all.
Who can cut light ?
what size/type screwdriver is this?
I bought a set of precision screw drivers and none fit till I used a old tech deck screwdriver and it fit
I cut the red wire now i cant see any lights or turn on the sleep mode 😭
Can you still able to put it on the sleep mode? I cut also but wont show the blue light when i tried to put it on sleep mode
Mine is not vibrating at all, and I did not do anything
Luckiest man alive
only dude on the block whos pogo vibration settings haxored the plusplus, lucky lol
Wow they were really unable to just include an off switch?
Does it also shut up Pikachu 😅😅😅
You can turn that off in the settings but there is also a silent mode
I did this and now my top button is unresponsive, is there a fix?
You just love to mess around and cut wires
My original Go Plus not only auto catches, but it doesn’t vibrate (no mods). Maybe mine is a rare case, but I’m sure they can fix the go plus plus via software.
I guess you have a modded variant then... No vibration + auto catch is usually when you cut the vibration of and lik the wire to the main button
@@JonkusPKMN Yeah it probably is and I just didn’t know about it. I ordered mine through Amazon (from the official Pokémon company) and it came like that.
Has anyone tried wiring the vibration/light into the button activation…so instead of only auto throwing poke balls, it would ‘manually’ button press for Great and Ultra?
That seems genius, should work right?
Wait a few weeks, there are world champions in copying which will sell it cheap too.
Not sure if the voltage would be too high... I did that with my ball and it totally killed it. I reversed it, but it never worked again...
@@kleator I’d be interested in more info; as I’d seen and personally did a rewiring of the original Go Plus, and it worked fine.
I wonder if there could be any additional modifications to ensure it works properly.
@@DavidLenardsonTheres already a way to make great/ultra balls automatic which does include a wire from the vibration motor. Chek r/PokemonGoPlusPlus for the thread
Another great way that I found WITHOUT destroying any hardware and permanently cutting any wires is:
1. - Open the Pokemon Go Plus+
2. - Tear appart some toilet paper (I'm poor so I used rather thin layered TP)
3. - Stuff the little spinner metal thing with teared tp balls (1-2 should be enough)
4. - Close the PG Plus+
-> Vibrations are gone. The little motor isn't strong enough to move the toilet paper in any way.
-> Can be reverted at any time
... in case anyone wants to use their PG Plus+ as a bloody vibrator or some shi..... (fr tho why are the vibrations THAT aggressive?)
Thank me later 👍
this so funny 😭
As you cut the cable the image gets blurred - bad timing
Just cut the black or red wire won't matter
i did this and it disabled vibration but also disabled lights and caused a spring to fall out that i now cannot find on the floor. at least it’s not vibrating anymore 😅
its so stupid... manipulating the device because they dont get it done by a software fix...
Yeah I’m surely not gonna cut anything.
take off the weight
Just hang it up or put it in a bag, they'll fix it via software eventually.
Can anybody trade me shiny night cap snorlax guys
Am having good shiny costumes old ones and many more
why did i wait so long to do this
I still have original gotcha no mods needed been going for 3 years + don't cut the red wire !
I cut the red wire now i cant see any lights or turn on the sleep mode 😭
I have my light still but when i pit it on sleep mode it wont light. Can you still able pit it on sleep mode?
I cut the red wire now i cant see any lights or turn on the sleep mode 😭
Same 😂
@@tobedalfs7276 there is another red wire, used for the battery... maybe you cut the wrong one?
