In this video I show my DIY piston rod heater and how it allowed me to repair a machine shop mistake on the spot. It’s not economical to make this setup unless you build a lot of engines however.

I have not seen a correlation that Volvo Pinto engines use four bolt main blocks some do in some don’t

Does the 4.3 have same set up marks for the piston rods.

@HoldFast-un2fc I am not sure what you mean by setup marks but the 4.3 has definite rod direction requirements. See this video:
