When a new task comes to you, Strategy #6 should be done first. I think the word "process" fits better than the word "strategy". Here is a summary of the steps of my process for handling tasks: * Capture. (Record/log). * Categorize. (Many of your "strategies" are ways to categorize.") * Prioritize (A, B, C). (There are many ways to do this. The Eisenhower Matrix is a good one). * Sequence (order) the tasks in Priority A first, then B. - - - Wait on C.
Thank you for always giving practical tips and advice. You are a favorite of mine here on TH-cam for a few years now. You made me feel good about not being a foofoo sticker planner and only using them where it makes sense and sparingly. I appreciate your content and your Strange and Charmed shop!
I tend to be a plan the week person and end up changing bits as I go because someone else needed to reschedule. while i should be doing plan the day, it feels too microscopic for me; my DNA says I NEEEEEED that weekly overview. The struggle is real.
I'm a homemaker who's husband is retiring at the end of the month. I need to renegotiate who does what. Definitely! Kathy B Most of the stuff I do is habits.
I love your content and have followed for years. My question is what would you say to someone that runs there multi level business but still has a day job. My high energy times are spent at work. Can you retrain body's energy response 🤔
Thanks so much! On the first question, if you mean that you are an independent consultant for a multi level marketing business- you should probably transition to a business where you sell your own products because MLMs are notoriously impractical ways to earn consistent income, where you are likely putting in far too much effort for a very low return. This would be a major energy and motivation leak. To answer your second question, you can't retrain your body to use energy differently outside of undergoing a significant body recomposition where you loose excess fat and increase muscle mass which can adjust the efficiency of energy usage in your body. However, you can absolutely take steps to give your body more energy in the form of food, rest, and meditative practices.
