Phoenix Police Department Recruitment - POPAT

Several times a year, hundreds of Academy hopefuls rise with the sun for POPAT. You’ll see an inspiring and diverse mix of community members. The physical abilities of participants range from pro-athletes to those who will find passing the test very demanding. Often decked out in a mix of school, team and name-brand athletic gear, what they all have in common is the desire to serve their community as peace officers for Arizona’s largest and most elite police agency. The POPAT is guided, tested and timed by some of the best and most charismatic police physical fitness trainers in the state.
