Holy S**t, this is just a prime example of how amazing an actor Brett Dalton is. throughout this whole scene I truly believe that's Nathaniel talking through Hive.
If you truly believe that then you gotta also believe that Nathaniel made out with his niece.
He technically is...he has his memories and how he felt and all that so he had a responsibility to set things tbat5 bothered his former host...he has all the memories and experiences of his prev hosts

This was the moment we realized Hive not only assimilated his hosts, but their memories as well.
Not really, Hive sort-of talked to Grant during his first meet with Gideon. He also hints in that scene that he has all of his memories and experiences. He also had those of Will too. It was pretty easy to miss though since it was all spread out like easter eggs

No, even in the 3rd season it's clear that he had the memories of will with jemma... And later of grant Ward.
Back when Nathaniel Malick was just an innocent kid...
They did a hell of a job with him on season 7.
I was sure she would be Madame Hydra, like she kills her father and followed Hive. Beside, Madame Hydra was the perfect Hive host, so I thought there would be a connection. Still an awesome scene and Brett Dalton really nailed it.

@@gauritrimbakkar9666 Stephanie Malick. and it was a supposition where I was sure she would kill her father and joined Hive. She lectured him everytime and was disgust by him when she learned the truth about him. However, that twist where Hive turned on her, I did not see that coming. Yeah, she would have made a fine Madame Hydra IMO.
Gotta say...not particularly sympathetic. Malick was scum, as for his daughter my take on her was that she was probably going to get worse as things went along. Besides, I guess you could almost call this karma for what he pulled with General Talbot's son.

Hes not nathan he just has all their memories. The reason why he's seeking closure for Nathan is because he has Wards memories and thats what Ward would have done in a similar situation.

This definitely was my favorite season. Absolutely great. Still, Hive was an Avengers level threat and no-one can convince me oterwise

No way, they look WAY different, hah! Awesome. It HAD been four years between shooting Seasons 3 and 7, though, so yeah, lotsa people's looks change a ton from teens to 20s.
@@Kris_AB Yeah! They really look different but the actor is the same. lol It's actually fascinating to see the consistancy of MCU shows like shield and carter with MCU movies. The timelines are changing I've a VERY high feeling that MCU films and series will be in the SAME timeline after episode 11 of season 7.
Always had this feeling especially after the Monalith stuff in the previous seasons because that way, there was always a high chance that MCU films and shows co-exist in the same timeline.

It's complicated, I thought Hive would use the reanimated body's and collect their memories like he did about Will and Ward when they both died but he's not the actual person
yea something like but its mostly strong memories with deep feeling such as betrayal love hatred so strong that stays with the person even after hive consume them in malick case its more like betrayal

I guess it's coz of the memories, it's confirmed that he gets his hosts memories,maybe sometimes he gets into the character due to too many special or sad memories like remembering your host was betrayed by his brother

This was the beginning of the end of HYDRA, when Hive killed one of it's Head's children. Cut off one head and two more grows back in it's place, Gideon became the head that bit it's heart after this.
