I usually roast with the fan speed on high at 215 degrees for 15 minutes. I get a nice, even, tasty medium roast. I use Columbia Supremo Huila beans. Thanks for your question! 😊
Honestly for quantity I just fill up to the max fill line. I always roast at full fan speed. When I do a dark roast, I roast at 230°C for 15 minutes. I reach first crack around 8-10 minutes. Thanks for watching!
@@ahmednasser4106 For my particular machine, I roast for 15 minutes at 215°C to get a decent medium roast. The fan is quite loud so hearing first crack is a little difficult so I’ve just learned to go by temperature and time to get my desired roast level. Thanks for the good question!
Hey there, yes it does. The temperature knob can be adjusted anytime. Also the roast time knob can be adjusted during a roast if I feel that the beans are getting too dark. Thanks for watching!
@@henrytung9324 The machine is a little bit loud but first crack can be heard if you pay attention. I’m so used to the machine that I set it up and walk away 😂
Hi there, I bought it while in China. But I found the same one on Aliexpress. This is not an affiliate link or anything but you could check it out if you like: a.aliexpress.com/_EuCwJdz
Yes, it has three fan speed settings. I’ve noticed that if it’s on high speed at certain points during the roast it will reduce speed for a time. I’m not sure if that’s part of the design or not, but it still roasts nicely. Thanks for asking!
@@tuluong4392The roaster does have three speed settings but, you’re right, you can only clearly see two lights in the video. Actually the speed setting lights are a little hard to see even in person, unless I get directly in front of them. But that being said, you may be correct, I may have accidentally had the roaster on speed two. 😊 Thanks for watching!

can it display temperature while roasting instead of time?
Hi there, it only displays temperature when the temperature knob it’s adjusted. Thanks for asking! 😊
How much noise does this machine make? I've been looking to buy something like this but if it sounds like a hair dryer I'm not so keen.
Honestly it’s quite loud, so I always roast outside 😊
Have you try to roast medium or high?
If you have? results?

Have you try to Light rost
@@Thongchai-k2f Actually I haven’t tried light roasts yet. I’ll have to try in the future 😊 thanks for watching!
So did you roasted those coffe to the coffee color grade = City roast?
I think the lighting might make the beans look darker than they really are. I generally do medium roasts. Thanks for watching!
@@RegularCoffeeGuy Thanks for the nice video.
What is the general quantity of beans you roast per batch? how much time it takes for the first crack at full temperature and fan speed?
Honestly for quantity I just fill up to the max fill line. I always roast at full fan speed. When I do a dark roast, I roast at 230°C for 15 minutes. I reach first crack around 8-10 minutes. Thanks for watching!

Have you ever french roasted? If so, what temperature and time did you use? Thank
I just set the roaster to its maximum temperature of 230c and default time of 15 minutes. But honestly I don’t do that very often.
How easy is this to use? I am a beginner roaster

Noted! Sorry if this video waisted your time. I don’t do instruction videos now but am considering it for future content. Thanks for your suggestion!
