I've listened to this song so many times, it's sparked so many different emotions out of me, "she" (who must not be named) told me to see the film, so today I did, I'll admit proudly I cried in the film (more than once). This is a good video, well done!

The nostalgia for a life, a project of society that has never been born except in our hearts. The bitter observation of a failure. But envy is always there, fewer inequalities to make more room for the human, for love.

i'm not able to write down my feelings to this soundtrack...
not even a book of the most beautiful words could descripe my feelings...
melodies like that are able to awake intense feelings... feelings we would never be able to descripe or even to say how they feel about something like that...
guess that's why tracks like this are so...
no word is worth it to be used for such a track...

How fragile is human nature, that sometimes needs these of parallel realities to survive. Worlds that lasted for a time and that, after disappearing, crushed the lifes and dreams of so many people.
In my opinion this music reflects that very well.

Again.. Bitterseet. I close my eyes, I try to see.... pictures, moments in life, just anything somehow connected to this song. I feel. I don´t see anything. There´s no picture, no colour in "our" wolrd or just in my head what could stand for this melody. Well... don´t wanna sound too poetic/dramatic whatsoever. But it just sharpens my moods - feelings. If I´d be sad, I´d cry. If I´d be happy, I´d laugh.

@FetteralsJoo - Ja, Vielleicht du hast rechts - - - more importantly, however, you're a good man, and If you ever need backup in a fist-fight - even when defeat seems inevitable, I'm your man - - - just keep in mind that it would take me about 40 hours to get to the Bundes Republik Deutschland... P.S. Do you know all the lyrics to Unsere Heimat? - cause I really like this old DDR song...

The movie's basically about the German Reunification. The mother of the protagonist is in a coma during the time the Berlin wall is pulled down. When she awakes after several months, she is not allowed to feel any kind of excitement because of her bad condition. She had been pretty convinced of the idea of the socialistic state of the GDR. So her son has to make everything look like before. The movie's definitely worth watching!!

Well strange enough - my grandfather was in a similar situation (I was too young to remember though) but he couldn't believe East Germany finally dissolved - we lived on the Polish border and my father actually drove him to East Berlin to show him that the wall was being removed. He rejoiced and died after seeing his dream come true - to see our fatherland reunited.

Well, depends. I never cry on media such as music and movies, I sometimes get touched emotionally of course, but no tears.
I do cry, but only when extremely frustrated, for example (the only one too) my friends start to annoy me with something personal, it's okay, but not after 3 weeks non-stop. But I don't just stand there and cry, I get aggressive too.......
    :)

And Emotions. You can't describe them. Like a Roller Coaster. You have the funny things like acting the "Tagesschau",but at the same time, you have the sad moments. When the Mother died. Or when he gets into Prison.
It's just magical. And the Music just fits perfectly to it. :)
