What music, when I listen to it, I have a feeling that I cannot describe that crosses my body, a feeling of nostalgia, memories of my youth, of that movie I saw in the cinema when I was in high school etc. ... I have tears in my eyes. all this to say that Yann Tiersen is a genius and this film a masterpiece, the story, the characters, everything is great, I have just watched it again and still have the same emotion.
I teach German at highschool. I've seen that movie several times with my students. Every time have to hide tears running to my eyes in certain scenes. Mainly because of the music. I started learning to play piano. Guess what was the first I've tried to play;)

I came here after "The place we only know" the love interest of the main character said at one scene that this is his favorite soundtrack and he likes to listen this masterpiece whenever he feels frustrated. I don't regret to search for it not even a bit.. This is so beautiful!
