Thanks for your comparison review here on the se two. Like you, I think I'm liking the Elixir more than the Absolut. I find the in the deep dry down of HB Bottled Absolut to be a dead ringer for the Mancera Red Tobacco dry down. But because I already have Mancera Red Tobacco, I'll stick with the Red Tobacco and not bother getting the HB Bottled Absolut. As for the HB Bottled Elixir, I get some similarities/crossover with Dior Sauvage Elixir but there's still enough difference to warrant getting the HB Bottled Elixir. The dry down of the HB Bottled Elixir is what I really enjoy here. Will be getting myself a bottle of the HB Bottled Elixir as it smells quite unique at some points throughout especially after the initial opening subsides a bit and those relative unique periods are quite enjoyable & appreciated.
Im in my late 20s and I'm heavily considering the Elixir. Its just straight up Christmas vibes and Im HERE for it! Absolu smells good but it didn't walk up to me and give me a warm hug like the Elixir did. I would totally wear it with a heavy flannel at a party while sipping on some whiskey.
I picked up Absolu 200ml for $169 when it came out. I still prefer Elixir. Elixir has a darker vibe which I enjoy. Absolu is lighter with a dusty edge. Elixir is bolder than Absolu. Performance is better on Elixir for me.
Thanks so much for another enlightening review.

Hugo Boss Elixir is brilliant very niche
Thanks for the review.
I do agree with you. Both are fantastic, but the Elixir is way more interesting

Thanks. I have a 100ml of Boss Absolu and I don't think I really need the Boss Elixir after watching your vid. A wee bit redundant. Cheers👍
Great video man! Plesse review the new lataffa the kingdom, its a super hyped jpg elixir clone
@@william6509 Thank you! I'll see what I can do.
The elixir is a beast!!! I could still smell it on me after a long scrub and soak in the bath.
Every man needs Boss Number 1.

havent tried absolut but Elixir is kind of a nice cheapy substitute when i dont want to break out Sauvage Elixir
@@bnernganmont I concur. I'd use it in the exact same situations.
Have you Heard about Loewe 7 elixir?
@@mpawel5 Yes. Smells like Aventus but has weak performance.
Try gisada ambassador intense
@@ShahsawarM Know it. Love it
