Every politician needs to take a lesson from Sheriff Judd. He believes the PEOPLE NEED to know what is going on around them. Sheriff Judd is being what politicians SHOULD BE...TRANSPARENT! This Sheriff is what ALL law enforcement officers should be! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE listening to him!!!

My county would love to have a Sheriff like this. Ours ran around on his wife, is not near as transparent as Grady Judd and is nothing but a politician. It's what our previous Sheriff groomed him for. Just a talking politician piece. Sure he has training from FBI etc but his actual time on the road doing actual police work is slim to none. I mean he's 42 and a Sheriff. Not many deputies voted for him. As they say he is not a Deputy Sheriff. He hasn't earned his time to become a Sheriff. He hasn't been to battles like other Sheriff's facing the bad guys. He abuses his power position against his own people unless you're as corrupt as he is. After his scandal getting caught cheating on his wife. Knowing who's going to be running against him next election, he doesn't stand a chance. He has all the older people fooled because they don't really know about his indiscretions. It wasn't all over the TV, just online news. Most of them in our online news is one sided. They don't play transparent either.

It starts at the top, with qualified leaders, not EEOC promotions. If administration is corrupt, it will ruin the entire department.
Sheriff Grady Judd is a man of integrity! I wish I could have worked under his leadership. I spent 27 years working ad a deputy sheriff in California. Sadly our sheriff is a joke, she has no morals.

If every city and county in America had Sheriff's, attorney-general's and prosecutors like you have it would be a great blessing to our country! I live in Chicago. The police are doing their job but Kim Foxx the Attorney General let's criminals go free. It is absolutely unbelievable! It is mind-blowing! People commit crimes and they are let out of jail the next day without bail. Resulting in the crime rate in murder rate going up. When Kim Foxx run for re-election if you have anyone that can run against her send them to Chicago!

The story of the little girl is truly heart- wrenching one. When I was young, about 8? A friend of the family did the exact same thing to me, except the photo part due to him already having physical access to me. I clearly remember each time, and I confronted him on a few occasions that he was full of shit and he stopped. There is more details, but I finally stood up to him and it stopped, but the damage was done.
I am proud of myself for what I did, and after approximately 20 years I filed criminal charges, which helped keep him in prison indefinitely. It was empowering and great to confront him in court, and being that I was 6', 265lbs., which had the court bring in a few extra sheriffs when he was brought up from the holding-cells. I had zero intentions of doing anything, but it felt good.
While it's great that I had such an opportunity, it would be better to prevent such experiences. Here is the key to it: These individuals are predators, and they look for the weakest victim. DO NOT ignore your children, and always empower them. I was in 'the wind' and he took advantage of his 'inside' knowledge of the family. My mother hated him, but my dad didn't listen to her. If a parent or child is uncomfortable around someone, drop them. No one is that important.
The whole on-line thing is difficult, because it want to trust my child, but try to keep her safe, all at the same time. I'm a single dad to a 13yr old daughter, and I want to do what dads do and scare people who come around my daughter. But hat doesn't always work. My new concern is that my daughter won't tell me something because she doesn't want me to hurt someone and go to prison, which is a place that I am unfortunately familiar with.
I have lived with these things and they all need to be taken out of circulation. End of story. I like to believe that if I go to prison and leave my child, at least she knows that someone in her life sacrificed everything to keep her safe and handle what it was that hurt her. That may sound crazy, but she is my baby, and her mom, who passed away, would probably be absolutely Pissed if I didn't. How do I look mom in the face when I see her again, and I have to explain why I didn't handle that? Her mom is a Latina. Shout out to ALL of the beautiful Latinas. Because you are the most incredible ladies out there. So yeah... I have to handle that if I want to be safe in Heaven, because not even God will mess with a Latina. God, "You are on your own, my friend. She is already looking for you."

This is the CORRECT WAY to "solve the gun violence issue" ... instead of PRETENDING that it is "the gun's fault".
They were illegally in possession of guns ... so any more laws wont change a thing for these CRIMINALS.

    • @Orcinus1967
      @Orcinus1967 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

The statement that “criminals do not follow laws” is true for the same reason it’s completely irrelevant to a substantive discussion on gun reform- it’s a tautology. It says exactly nothing about the proper course of action a society should take to improve social outcomes.
By definition, criminals don’t follow laws. This is no more a meaningful statement about social realities than the observation that dogs bark or cats meow, so it is baffling that gun proponents view this as an acceptable rejoinder in political debate.
Though it may seem like such an obvious point may not need mentioning, it has become increasingly popular among those who oppose gun reform to argue that such legislation only hurts law-abiding citizens, making it more difficult for innocent civilians to get the guns they need to defend themselves. Criminals, after all, don’t obey the laws that burden law-abiding citizens. This is a paradox because it axiomatically reinforces the idea that laws, though created with the intent to improve social outcomes, hurt the people who follow them.
      The paradox is as follows:
      Law-abiding citizens obey the law
Criminals are lawbreakers, and thus do not obey the law
Laws impose restrictions on the behavior of only those that follow them
Laws, therefore, only hurt law-abiding citizens.
Without exception, every law could be refuted with the lawbreaker’s paradox, and societies would swiftly descend into anarchy if it weren’t for reasonable policymakers. Laws against rape, murder, and theft, for example, are rarely followed by rapists, murderers, and thieves, but the fact that such people exist in society is the reason behind such regulations in the first place.
Among gun advocates forwarding this line of argument, there seems to be a serious lapse in moral intuition that privileges expediency over human lives. To think that the minor inconvenience of gun reforms such as background checks, waiting periods, and assault weapon bans is more burdensome than the death of thousands of innocent civilians each year (which such reforms seek to redress) reflects a miscalibrated sense of what matters in the world. After all, when gun advocates say that they are being “hurt” by gun control, let’s be clear as to what the actual implication of this statement is: My right to not be bothered in the least by regulation outweighs the right to life for thousands of innocents who die in the absence of said regulation.

A former police officer and retired military I have a solution to this gang problem. The US Navy has several retired aircraft carriers that they have been selling to scrap companies in Texas for one penny. The US Government needs to take one of the retired aircraft carriers and make it a prison ship without guards. The ship needs to be petmantely anchored in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean which the US Navy refers to blue water ops. What that means is there is no land one thousand miles in any direction. So if the prisoners decide to jump in the water there would be no.place to go but get eaten by sharks. Food and water would be delivered by helicopters once a month never landing but vertically dropping off pallets. It would be every prisoner for themselves because no one in authority would be there to supervise rationing. The ship would be listed on every navigational map as a restricted area. Solar powered navigational lights would come on at night so other ships could physical see the lights as well as use their radar to detect the ship's presence. All mass shooters, murdering gang members, prisoners sentence to life / death and domestic terrorist would make up the normal population of the prison ship. I strongly feel if you want to act like a mad animal then you should be treated like one. I gurantee after the word gets out to these violet offenders that they could end up on the prison ship watch their behavior change drastically. Anyone who has ever been in the North Atlantic in the winter time when 50 ft waves are hitting the ship and its freezing cold knows that ocean is nothing to play with. America needs to start getting tough like other countries in dealing with crime. For those Americans who have traveled to numerous countries know exactly what I am talking about. Many countries will kill you committing the slightest crime and don't think nothing of it. I have reached the point of frustration watching these criminals go to prison pumping iron, watching tv and eating three meals today while families are left to suffer due to the loss of their love ones . Let me close by stating I am not referring directly to all prisoners because some simply made the wrong choice at the wrong time. The bottom line is America is soft on crime punishment. PERIOD!!!

All LEOs should follow his example. Every county should be required to be transparent with the public like he is. They should have a weekly report & let the people know what they need in order to improve their jobs including equipment and training. Not Defunding Police like so many Politicians have done which has caused massive Crime Waves in places like San Francisco Bay Area, NYC, Newark NJ, Los Angeles, Chicago, St Louis, KC, Infamous Montgomery County where 9 attacks by illegal aliens on children happened in one month which caused people from all political groups to protest against the municipality, Portland, Seattle, Minneapolis aka Little Mogadishu with massive Somali gangs & BLM was allowed to burn down entire city blocks killing people inside buildings & only received ten years in prison, & BLM just bought another property for six million dollars & still hasn’t helped any poor black families & they were allowed to take a neighborhood/street hostage for a month over Fentanyl Floyd, they banned police and ambulance from going inside. The BLM Insurrection was allowed to stay for a month! Citizens lived in fear to go outside on their own property because they didn’t want to get shot or have their homes or businesses burned down.
New Orleans, Houston Austin Dallas including towns flooded with illegals and Drug Cartels in Texas, Phoenix with Gangs and Drug Cartels, Atlanta including Drug Cartels on the rise, Philadelphia, Wichita, DC, etc, and all these cities have two things in common,
      Democrats & Defunding Police!!
NYC used to be known as the Biggest Safe City in America where everyone could come and make money & find a job or stardom. Everyone from all walks of life came to the melting pot of NYC & got along together. That’s when Rudy Giuliani was the Mayor. Now NYC is dangerous & not a place for tourists to visit. Businesses are often boarded up because violent BLM ANTIFA, Eco Terrorists are busting out the windows & throwing paint & oil on their front doors & windows. They keep customers from entering businesses while they are in front protesting & harassing people. Some of them assault the customers while police do little to nothing about it because they have been ordered by Marxist Mayors to Stand Down, like in many cities, same thing on the West Coast. They see a crime and turn their backs in San Francisco, Portland, etc, just disgusting. And if they say anything, they are usually fired.
These are the politicians to be rid of & recalled in 2022 Election. Citizens should be getting their Recall Petitions completed in order to get the Recalls on the November Ballots. There’s deadlines & signature totals needed to get finished. Any Governors like Gavin Newsom, judges, mayors like Ted Wheeler & London Breed & the awful NYC Mayor, city council members, prosecutors, city attorneys like Kim Gardener, attorney generals like Letitia James, DAs like Gascon, police chiefs, etc, need to be Recalled. school board members can be recalled & removed immediately. Give another shot at removing Gavin Newsom without Zuckerberg Ballot Boxes & Zuckerbucks bribes & Zuckerberg Ballot Box Backpack Bandits harvesting ballots! They Cheated! People went to vote for Larry Elder were told they already voted, for Gruesome Newsom! What happened to those investigations??? How about the Meth Head ANTIFA dude caught with a carload of ballots? Nothing. Ballot Harvesting in California is a huge problem, & it is why Democrats allow it. They’d never win again without it.
Primary a bunch of these wackos. Especially the ones in office for the last 40-50 years! Get rid of Mitch McConnell, Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, Dianne Feinstein, Maxine Waters, Poopy Pants Jerry Nadler, Steny Hoyer, James Clyburn, etc, fossilized politicians must go especially the ones who pushed for Defunding Police. They are responsible for all the Crime Waves. And their Bail Reform/ No Bail Policies, Releasing Violent Dangerous Criminals!

Grady needs to run for governor when DeSantis goes to the Whitehouse. This is what genuine integrity looks like, this is what a distinct sense of right and wrong looks like and this is what true concern for the safety of the general public looks like.

No one would disagree, these instances are detestable and I am appreciative for PCSO keeping the public safe. One additional observation I have made from many of your media conferences, the media in the room at the time asks excellent questions. That is not seen all the time and I wish it was the case more often.

What happened to the law that held parents criminally responsible for their minor childrens crimes? As far as I can tell, it’s still on the books. They arrested parents for really bad kids back in the 70s.

I feel the death penalty needs to be used with no lengthy appeals. This madness of allowing these people to continue needs to have severe consequences. They the gangs and all others need to understand that when you take a life it is a trade off yours for theirs. Not to mention that the tax dollars saved could be reinvested to the communities.
