I couldn't figure out how the little pin went in and was held in. I am usually pretty good with these things but this video really helped me figure it out. Thank you.
Bypassed it all & put in a $10 old school hot rod / rat rod push-button on the dash. Too much screwing around for the little bit it got used. That said I still watched the whole video & you did solid work explaining it all 👏

Great job. I have an 84 CJ7 and replaced the turn signal assembly. Horn is a mystery, this video helps. I hope to get the horn connected and functioning. thanks
Great video. My old horn turn signal cam had the little plastic tower holding the spring and plunger contact broke off at the bottom of the plastic tower. The little plastic ring was just pressed in and had just enough tension to keep the spring from pushing out the contact/plunger. It pushed out by hand to remove. My new ring I bought Crown J4487711 does not have the slot or notch on top for the bayonet style key as yours did. However the plastic ring was to loose of a fit to keep the spring and contact in it. I put a thin coat of hot melt glue all the way round and slide it into position. It seems to hold well now. Also instead of the vinyl rings you made to isolate the tabs on the back of it, I just used three short pieces of electrical tape as that is what I already had on the old one.
