  • How to disassemble the top carrier roller from a Kubota U25, U35, KX71, KX91 to replace the bearings and seals.
Most people will buy a new roller assembly because they are readily available and not too expensive in some parts of the world.
I’m replacing the bearings and seals rather than buy a new top carrier roller because:-
A new OEM roller is $550NZ. The NZ Kubota has none in stock and it will take weeks to get from overseas.
A new aftermarket Chinese one is $250NZ (Ebay or Amazon) and will take weeks to get from overseas.
The special seals and plug were inexpensive and on the shelf at the NZ Kubota dealer.
The bearing are standard, cheap and on the shelf at the local bearing supplier.
So with a bit of work I could get the digger going sooner and for less cost.
See parts details at the end of the video.

Great Video -- Faced with the same issues in the USA for a grey market Mitsubishi that is not marketed here. Outer roller is barely worn but bearings are seized. Now all I have to do is disassemble and identify parts needed. The bearings will not be a problem only worried about the end cap, but your part numbers should help. Will also go with double sealed bearings.
